Suppressors X-300

Re: X-300

I have two X-300's and one X-200 with and without pressure switches. They are outstanding. They both are powerful , lightweight and tough as nails. They perform great at night and illuminate up to aprox 200 yards give or take with no problem. The batteries last a very long time. The glass is fantastic. I thought I scratched the lense on the X-200 but it seems to be somewhat self healing...Blew my mind. You can't see any imperfection in the lense now and I didn't do anything to it but wiped it clean... I have had these on Glock 34, H&K USP 45 Tactical, Walther P-22, multiple carbines, 11-87 police shotgun, AK-47 and maybe a few others that I am forgetting.. Go with the X-300 and you will be tickled pink...SmokeRolls

smgrendel : I don't have the X-400 but I plan on getting one. I had one on order last year around summertime and it wasn't until just recently that it became available for my Surefire dealer. Will have to wait until funds get free again.. Gotta get thru this winter. I have a question though. Does the X-400 lock in very tight to the weapon so the lazers zero would remain the same even if banged around?... Just curious. I can't wait to spend some time around it....SmokeRolls

Re: X-300

SmokeRolls,

Its the same as the 300 but with the laser mounted on the bottom. I havent had a chance to really abuse it yet but i dont see anyway at all that its going to move. im very impressed with how well the 300/400 locks up. I dont really have any need for the laser so ill be buying the 300 from now on but this one is next to the bed and my girlfriend will be better off using it.

Re: X-300

Tom,

I like it with the standard on/off
I dont want the light accidentally being hit on.
go play with one and figure out what you like best if you can.

Re: X-300

Your advice of going and playing with one is sound. However I do not have anywhere local that sells them. And I am a handicapped guy so long trips are pretty well out of the question. That is why I sometimes ask so many stupid questions

. That and the fact that I have a good bit of time on my hands.

I want this pistol for home personal protection. I am leaning toward the Glock Model 21 in 45 ACP. Tom.

The pics answered my question on securing the X-400 to the pistol. The X-400 mounts and tightens with a screw for a secure lockup. The X-300 is a quick hookup like the X-200. That makes way more sense since it (X-400) has a lazer and needs to keep zero.. I almost bought some X-300's from Fastford in the past... I didn't get them but he seemed ok to deal with.

I use both. On pistols, I use both, depending on what I feel like using at the time. Some pressure switches from Surefire wrap more around the front strap which can sometimes get bumped and then turn them on as long as it's depressed, other pressure switches are more in front of front strap and is way less likely to accidentally turn it on even if you lay the pistol down on it's side. On carbines, I use Surefire rail mounted tape /button switches and pressure pads on Tango Down's bottom grip. I like having access to light without having to reach or look for the on switch...Put the on switch under your fingers and then sqeeze and say "cheeze"!!!!!!!.....SmokeRolls

Tom.. If there is anything that I can do let me know. I'm not too far from you. (I think. That is if you are not up near Maryland.)) I am just below Lexington KY (about 30-45 minutes south) I have a great Surefire dealer that can mail you anything and we can find out what part # for each particular situation / weapon.........SmokeRolls

Re: X-300

X300 is the best tac light I have used so far. All my team members have broken Insight tecs and streamlights. It is a very bright and durable light. I use the pressure switch. I will be getting the X-400 soon! Jeff.

Re: X-300

I have been running my X300 on my Glock 21 for almost 2 years. Here is a pic after I put 1K rounds through it in 4 hours. The only issue I ever had was after I shot all that ammo I had to clean the lense with alcohol and q-tips.

I run the DG switch and love it. It allows me to turn on the light while opening doors when clearing houses. I have also carried it for weeks at a time while teaching courses.
