Gunsmithing X-Caliber barrels

Does anyone have experience with Savage pre-fits ordered directly from X-Caliber? They have a 25% off sale going right now, I'm planning to buy one. Also, would you recommend 6-groove or 5r rifling for 6.5 CM?

I run the barrel blanks from them and they are great. No need to buy prefits when you own a lathe

I’ve scope quite a few barrels and they are as good as any I have scoped. Had s friend shoot a .17 MOA group with his 6.5 Grendel AR that uses an Xcal barrel.

I have run a few of them, very good barrels for the $. I have only run 5R, worked great.

Only run the 3r. It's a tack driver and fast.

CS is awesome too. I'd rather not know, but they made it right.
