if you're wanting to know how they feel doing that, we can't help, that's totally subjective </div></div>
I am well aware the stock will handle it. I have read peoples reports that the chassis style stocks have a ring to them with the bigger cartridges. I have also read that they don't soak up recoil aswell as the heavy filled fiberglass style stocks. I was looking for first hand thoughts from people that have fired both platforms. </div></div>
Some chassis systems like the XLR redirect and control the recoil ever so slightly better because they force the optic higher as well as better center the bore in the overall system. Look at the overall shape of the XLR vs a McMillan A5. The bore is more centered height wise. This causes the recoil to push straight back rather than cause the muzzle to rise.
But the main reduction in recoil is going to come from the weight alone. It doesn't matter if it is a chassis or a standard stock. The heavier it is, the less you will feel the recoil.
