Gunsmithing you expeience with grizzly's customer service

As you can see from my plethora of posts I am in the market for my first lathe. Seeing as I can only afford Chinese lathes I think customer service will play a big roll. Can you guys that have experience with Grizzly's customer service tell me what you think about the company.

I always have good luck with them. Friendly, patient,and helpful, even when you ask for stuff like "the gear that the gear driven by the worm gear turns for the auto feed. No sir I don't have the Part# but it looks like it use to have 35 Teeth."

Been using and 0509g for a bit now and never needed any repair help but had a odd metric threading issue. They had their top trouble shooter spend the better part of an hour to make sure it was completely sorted out.I also have nothing but good to say about the lathe(except the realy crappy work light).

I bought a used 4003g lathe and didn't get the extra gears with it. I sat down looked up the part numbers and emailed grizzly and asked for a quote. They sent back a .PDF file (within about an hour) with what each part costs and an order number if I wanted to order them. So easy I called customer service and gave the order number and paid them all in about 4 mins. Was so easy and fast

I got the package about 5 days later, they billed me for a 45T gear but sent a 50T gear. Called and David was the CS rep(He was from the states and spoke english YAY!) and I thought it would be a pain in the ass. Was very easy to deal with and setup to have someone call me and get a new part out.

Hopefully they will ship it out 2nd day so I can have my work done next weekend.

Pappa Grizzly (Mr. Shiraz) runs a tight ship.

Everything I've ordered (sanders, Bison Chucks, cabinets, blast cabinets, etc) has been as advertised, well packed, delivered on time, and of good/exceptional quality.

I have zero hesitation with Grizzly.

Customer service with me has always been top notch. Keep in mind when you order a lathe to find out if it is Taiwan versus Chinese. You want the Taiwan ones. Spend all you can afford plus some to insure that and you will be repaid 10 fold. As an added note Grizzly offers some good tooling (holders, bits, etc) that rival MSC's pricing. Happy chip making.
