I took the Grub's family out for there spring break vacation and boy was it a blast despite being on the warm side. The plan over a 3 day span was to go after Axis, Corsican, Turkey, and Hogs, all free range/spot and stalk for the boys Corey and Jake.
We manged to get 4 nice corsicans down, a beautiful velvet axis, a rio grande turkey, a close encounter with a big ol boar and we were after one big axis buck but he just managed to give us the slip time after time.
Heres the pics! It was a great hunt with plenty of Axis seen, a lot of bucks in velvet that will be good to go in a couple weeks.
Prior to meeting them we were out on an Aoudad hunt which proved to be one of the toughest hunts I have ever done. It was very very green with water everywhere. 1 ram was taken the last morning with several younger ones passed up on.
