The other day I went to Gander Mountain and purchased a Yugoslavian Tokarev M57 for $220. I took it to the range last Tuesday and I must say that I am very pleased with the overall quality and feel of the weapon. Of course it can't compete with high end firearms but for the money I think this is a great pistol. It has nine round capacity and came with two mags.I really like the grip because its longer than the Russian and Polish versions(so for me it's easier to handle) and the quality in my opinion is just as good if not better. The ammo is cheap (Polish surplus) and the accuracy was also very surprising (considering that this is a mass produced Communist era firearm).I also like the sights on the weapon because they are smaller which makes it easier to aim at smaller targets, not very tacticool so to speak but I like it. I also liked the solid build and the 1911 feel and similarity. This is a great gun and it does not put constraints on your budget. I was wondering if any of you guys had experience with the Tokarevs and what you think about them?
