Rifle Scopes Zeiss Wipes

Re: Zeiss Wipes

I use them on my glasses when I don't have access to soap and water and a cotton cloth, and I've never noticed any scratches or changes in the anti-reflective coating.

Re: Zeiss Wipes

I don't know about the variety you buy at WalMart, but Zeiss Wipes are all I'm allowed to use on the $200k camera at work.

Re: Zeiss Wipes

had a friend give me a box that he had extra a couple years ago. work pretty well. great to just throw a few in your drag bag just in case. or if you dont have your polish cloth or it gets dirty.

but liberty is right, they can leave watermarks, just buff it real quick with a polish cloth.

Re: Zeiss Wipes

I just went to the local high-end camera shop n bought a $6 pro lens cleaning kit for my zeiss scopes and all other optics. came with a nice puffer brush to blow dust off, cleanig solution, cloth, and lens papers. Have always used lens paper on the microscopes in the labs and never had a problem. thats what a lot of guys use exclusively for camera lenses... which one lens can for the camera body can cost the same as several nxs. just food for thought.

Eye glasses area, in the very front of the store here locally.

Re: Zeiss Wipes

Bausch and Lomb make some called "Sight Savers", and Wally World has another brand (that I can't remember the name of) that says in the small print at the bottom of the box they're made by Zeiss.
