Has anyone tried the Zeiss lens wipes they sell at walmart? These won't damage multicoated optics I assume?

The only thing is they sometime leave "water marks" on the lenses, they are not harmful but I use a super secret no lint cloth to remove them and the lenses look like new

had a friend give me a box that he had extra a couple years ago. work pretty well. great to just throw a few in your drag bag just in case. or if you dont have your polish cloth or it gets dirty.
but liberty is right, they can leave watermarks, just buff it real quick with a polish cloth.

I just went to the local high-end camera shop n bought a $6 pro lens cleaning kit for my zeiss scopes and all other optics. came with a nice puffer brush to blow dust off, cleanig solution, cloth, and lens papers. Have always used lens paper on the microscopes in the labs and never had a problem. thats what a lot of guys use exclusively for camera lenses... which one lens can for the camera body can cost the same as several nxs. just food for thought.

My Wal-Mart has Lens Cleaning Wipes with a Zeiss label in the eyeglass shop. They come in a box of 50. I keep some in the glove box of the car, and some in the computer drawer in the house.
