Rifle Scopes Zeroing S&B MTC

Zeroing 3-12x50 PMII MTC elevation turret. I have both set screws removed and turret cap does not freely spin without clicking when attempting to set zero.

The windage cap free spins when set screws are removed and want to confirm if the elevation cap should do the same.

Is this correct? I am not at a range at the moment to confirm otherwise.

Found a video of Jason at Eurooptic stating the MTC elevation turret will continue to click after removing set screws and is normal however, he was demoing a newer 3-20 model.

I have the 5-25 model and can confirm the turret will still click even after losening the set screws, just losen turn to zero and re tighten them, you should be good to go
