    Fierce Rifles Quality and Accuracy

I am in Canada. There are 2 guys at my club that have hunting rifles made by Fierce and I've seen them shoot them. Both of those shot very well at 300M. I'm talking 1/3 MOA or so 3 shot groups.

Gunsmithing Savage bolt hard to close on round

The question still remains. Did you remove the ejector prior to headspacing?

Gunsmithing Savage bolt hard to close on round

What do you mean by Go Gauge cycles perfectly? You did remove the ejector when setting headspace?

.264 bullets for PRS other than 140 eldm?

My down range performance was better but it was always a question of availability. Here in Canada they are cheaper than the ELD-M.

    Lake City 7.62x51 virgin brass?

My only experience with LC 7.62 brass is the 1,000 pieces of LC 06 I bought in 2012. I specifically bought it because the spent primers were still crimped in and I had to sewage the primer pockets. At the time I paid $0.12 a piece or $120/1,000. I bought it to use in my M1A national match. Works...

Help new reloader read preasure signs 7prc

Did you do any type of primer pocket work such as uniforming? That ring looks like a tool mark. As far as pressure signs the things I look for, and this is in no way a scientific approach, Heavy bolt lift. If I feel it I mark the case with an X on the base with a sharpie. This way I will pay...

    CZ 457 Question

One thing to note is that CZ-USA doesn't import every model. In Canada the CZ 457 Varmint AT-ONE comes in 3 lengths 16", 20", and 24" It comes with the MATCH chamber and the barrel threading is 1/2"-20 instead of the typical 1/2"-28. The CZ Varmint MTR in Canada is also available in 16", 20" and...

    Hornady Auto charge pro

I'm big on Hornady products but for a powder dispenser the lowest I'd go is the RCBS. I have a Chargemaster 1500 combo that I was using till I switched to the AutoTrickler V4. I know that the lineup has changed since then so maybe some reasearch is in order.

    Springfield M1A loads

Springfield M1A National Match. Exactly my load with the exception of the soft Federal primer, I use CCI#34 7.62 NATO spec primers.

COAL using CBTO from Hornady OAL gauge significantly shorter than book COAL?

No CBTO but pretty comprehensive. You can find Sierra load data online for most popular cartridges they sell bullets for. https://sierrabullets.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/6-5-creedmoor-load-data-112817.pdf

    6.5x47 still relevant?

This summer I went to a 2 day clinic/competition and directly from the competition I went on vacation to Nashville. I hand loaded 200 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor for the competition and had 80 remaining. When I was in Nashville I heard about Dead Zero Shooting Park and their 1000y all electronic...

Where do you see 2” groups at 200 other than the factory Lapua ammo? 4/7 groups are sub 1/2 moa. 6/7 are sub moa. This is load development don’t forget.

There are budget friendly annealers out there. https://www.uglyreloadingusa.com/product/demo-unite-ugly-annealer-without-torch-usa-stock-free-shipping-lower-48-of-the-usa-copy/

Perhaps it would. I want to make it very clear that I am not implying that annealing affects E.S. or S.D. numbers. I was suggesting that case life may be extended by annealing. We can both play these games. These are some of the LabRadar logs from my 6.5CM load development but with actual data...

Why can NO ONE call 6BR the same thing???

There is a website of the same name with tons of info. There is also tons of stickys at the top of this forum for every caliber under the sun including 6BR. Most people on this site have 1-7" to 1-8" twist barrels which have enough twist and a long enough throat to run the 105's. I on the other...

I will disagree with you on the AMP being the only annealer that works. Brass manufacturers were using flame annealing for decades before induction annealing came into popularity. I don't want this thread to go down the same path as the last one that devolved and was locked so I will end it at that.
