Cut barrel, adjustment to DOPE?

Hi Guys:

Barrel is being cut from 24" to 20".

I have my dope out to 1000 in a 308 shooting 175 SMK HPBT at 2600 (actually Black Hills match, a M118LR clone).

I am using MOA turrets, how much change should I be looking for? An extra 0.25 MOA?

I would look for 2-5 moa change. The barrel could maintain velocity though at 2600 fps and you might not see any change.

Thanks. I know I gotta re shoot it, but wondering how to work the dope as I stretches out.

I get 2650 fps with the 175 SMK out of my 20" remington without any signs of pressure. Load is 44g varget and win brass and primers. I don't think you will lose much velocity going from 24" to 20".
I would just use your 24" dope first - you'll be close.
