Big milestone at my house today. My oldest daughter (just about 13) got her first shotgun tonight. Her goal this year is to get her first deer too. Went with a Remington 1187 compact 20 gauge. She filled up a bunch of milk jugs with water so we can go blast them in the morning. Not sure who's more excited!

The two youngest 5 and 7 finally learned iron sight alignment with red ryders. No can is safe.
the oldest 9 went to the range last weekend and hit targets at 600 and 1000. In his mind all he has to do is show up at the next Olympics and gold is his.

About 85% of my shooting doesn't involve me pulling a trigger anymore. I enjoy it more than when all ammo consumption was my own. Very good times.
