Night Vision Suppressor heat signature in thermal scope

Mounted my can on rem 700 24” barrel with pulsar thermion 2 xq 50 medium height rings and the suppressor blocks out bottom 1/3 of the screen. Even when unfired it shows up due to ambient temp differences. What options do I have to remedy this.

None unless you cool it off to outside temps, which changes when you shoot. Suppressor covers don't help if they are warm too.

Need to get your scope up a little higher. You'll still see the heat signature, but not as much.

My Nox 18 does it terrible. I love the wide image so it's a trade off. It goes away once I zoom in once tho

Resolved the issue by going to a high ring (.550”) and a 1/2” pic rail spacer. Thanks for all the input gentleman.
