Thoughts after using them ? Worth it ? Loud ?

Shooting Seekins PH2 in 7 PRC. Loading once fired Hornady brass using Hornady dies. Load is 62.0 grains H4831SC at 3.300” COAL for 175 ELDX. The Hornady load data one below MAX is 62.4 grains at 3.265” COAL. My throat as measured using Hornady lock-n-load is 3.346”. So I’m 0.046” off lands. Rounds shoot great, 3 shot groups under 1/2”. For me and a
Hunting rifle I’m good with that. The bolt lift is sticky. The primers are not as flat as the last box of Hornady 175 ELDX I bought. You guys with experience, how much powder charge should I back off to alleviate a sticky bolt? I’m working up a hunting load. Rifle has 26” barrel. I’m good with 2850-2900 ft-sec as long as it’s repeatable. The factory stuff is not the same , lot to lot. I called Hornady and they said they were changing powders and charge trying to get back to the published 3000 Ft/sec. I’ll probably load the next group at 61.5 grains to see if dropping 1/2 grain fixes this.

So I have done a few ar10 builds in the past, 2 using Aero Precision m5 lowers, and 1 using an LMT lower. I have a VSeven Harbinger receiver set that I will be doing a build with later this year in October, but for right now, I want to do a new build and I want to try out a new ar10/lr308 receiver set.

What receiver sets would you recommend? I've looked at SLR, Zev/MegaMaten, NEMO, and Noveske, but I'm open to other suggestions. I wouldn't mind doing another LMT build but I'm looking to work with something new.

SHOT show is almost here and the drama is reaching a fever pitch. Boyfriends got stolen, purses got swung, silencers got chopped.

Why are we seeing so many ziess s3 for sale? Are they not holding up and tracking? Is the glass not that great what would they compare with? I am not sure how much information is out there on this rifle. Does anyone know if the gas tube is the same length as the 16" barreled rifle? Do they use the same weight buffer? I guess what I want to know is how different is this rifle from the SR-15 E3.2 16" rifle?

For guys that dial wind, do you prefer to have the windage knob on your shooting hand (Right side) or do you better like the ability to see where your wind is at from your non-dominant eye, right in front of you, without breaking your cheek weld?

Question about the Mil-R: Does the 2 mil center bracket work as a fast aiming solution on low-ish power at closer ranges? My thinking is, don't even look at the center cross, just bracket an ipsc silouette inside the box and go, like an Eotech but square. Is that how people use it?

Also for sale is the same NF in Mil-XT (for $200 more). Something about the dots just turn me off because in pictures it appears to wash out behind a wooded area. Hashes just make sense to my eyes. On that subject, do any of you have good success using wind+elevation holds without a tree?
