Transitioning my "competition" gun to a hunting stock so I actually use the rifle.

I never ended up shooting competition and the gun was purely for load development on the bench.

Ok, here it goes. I am getting into the 300 NM game. I have some redding bushing dies already that are sized for 308, I have several bushings for that caliber. Is it logical to think that I can use those bushings in the 300 NM bushing die, are they translateable from 30cal die to 30cal die is the question?

I have a like new Seekins PH3 NRL. This is in 6mm Creed, which is almost impossible to find.
Love the rifle and it shoots awesome. Due to other plans, I am going to let this go.
About 150 rounds fired. I shot an NRL match with 105 Hybrids and it did awesome, but I also tested factory 108's and they were amazing as well.

I need SOLD PENDING FUNDS for it and I will include the Seekins Mlok rail.

The only trade I would entertain is a Lite hunting chassis.....like an XLR Magnesium with Folder.

Anybody know of any reputable companies that reprofile hunting knives? Have a few fixed blade knives that are 40-45° bevel and want to get them to 18-20° bevel.

very close to clone correct. the only things not "correct" are:

unmarked NV rail. repro from before LRI made them
the FH is marked with the surefire logo, not sterile like the issued rifles
the recoil lug isnt Ti
the scope base isnt Ti and is marked "xm-3" on the right and has the rifle S/N on the left. I know it's not clone correct, but I liked the idea of more SN marked parts.
the trigger is a tuned rem700, but not sure if the exact walker style as the issued rifles
the last 4 of the S/N on the bolt handle and bottom metal are laser engraved, not hand stamped
cerakote finish not whatever the originals were

Any recommendations I should be considering besides Vortex and Leupold?

This will be for a new shooter learning the basics. Mounted on an R700 PSS .308. Possibly swapping it onto a .308 AR-10 from time to time. Distances under 1k and mostly under 600.

Would like FFP MIL/MIL. No need for illumination. Minimum mag around 4x and maximum 15-20x.

Budget $1k +/- $100 or so

Current recommendations are:
Viper PST Gen II 3-15x44 First Focal Plane Riflescope - EBR-2C Reticle (MRAD) and Leupold Mark 4HD 4.5-18x52 (34mm) M5C3 , though the Leupold is probably pushing his budget a bit.
