I hand load 224 Valkyrie. Was using 75 grain eldm, now 88 grain.

I shoot with a supressor. I have an adjusting gas block. I’ve tried light weight and standard weight bolt carriers.

My suppressor, chamber, and upper are FILTHY after 100 rounds. Seriously, dirtier than my M4/M16 EVER were in the army.
Happens with the 75 grain and 88.
Happens with CCI BR4 primers and Federal gold medal match.

If I clean my rifle, go to the range, my first 15-20 spent cases aren’t bad. By the time I get to 60-70 shots, my cases look black coming out.

Is there a cleaner powder?
What are my options?
Any ideas?

I ask this question on another forum and got mixed answers so I thought I’d ask here. I can get a McMillan stock with a TL3 inlet at a fair price and without the 6 month wait. Before I committed to buy I thought I’d call McMillan to see if a Solus action would fit, they said absolutely not they’re completely different. I know the ejection port is longer on the Aero and a few other small differences but I would think with a little finessing the Aero would work in the TL3 stock. I assume McMillan wants to get every ounce of accuracy from their product and that’s why they said a firm no? So with a little tweaking will the Aero fit in the TL3 stock or should I go a different direction?

watched some interviews with her. seems tuned in to the deep state and it's workings. not afraid to run with that. i have never seen anyone try to steer her to talk re maui.

I was burned out on 12/hr nights for the last 9 years, last 4 were Thursday - Sunday. I quit last month and took a $300 a week pay cut to be the assistant director of maintenance at our new veterans home in Enterprise AL, CSM Bennie G Adkins.
Learned, after the fact, we don't get paid for federal holidays, no benefits for 90 days-expected. An employee called in with covid last weekend, I tested negative Monday, but positive on Wednesday. Had 1 bad day, still have a fever. Missed the grand opening & ribbon cutting today. I get to go in Monday to be tested again. Pretty sure if I'm clear I can work through next weekend to make up a couple of days, not that it's gonna break me. I'd come to the conclusion that I had a natural immunity, wrong!

Selling my Mcmillan A1-3 adjustable with Hawkins M5 DBM

The stock is cut for a remington 700 short action, I had a TL3 in it and it fit perfectly fine so anything R700 short action pattern will work. Barrel channel is M24 and it appears to be cut to accept an EFR rail up front. It has a short (i believe 4.25") Area 419 ARCA rail up front for bipod mounting.

I've said for a decade now, the disarmament regime finally figured out they can use loose laws, statutes, and "national security" concerns to finally disarm civilians. They lose in court 9 times out of 10, so they are now turning to frivilous rules and lawsuits to accomplish this.

I have options to get ahold of some of each of the above, plus I can get lot tested ammo from Ohio eventually, probably in the eley variety but whatever they have.
I've heard really good things about RWS in general and I know a few of my local friends shoot and win with it, but they all shoot an older lot.
do you think I'll have the same luck with a new, somewhat random lot of RWS R50 or are they just like everyone else in that you really have to match the speed? because that old lot shot at like 1109 in any barrel from 18 to 24 inches, and it shot damn good in my savage, plus all their nice rifles. would different lots be different speeds like every other brand?
I'm afraid I shot a box of a magical lot of RWS R50 and now I'll never find anything that good again lol.
I've got some midas+ that's good but also 60fps slower so more drop and wind.
I've stopped shooting rimfire while I get a new gun built, but it's almost done and when it is I only have a thousand rounds to shoot, I'll be out in a couple months at best.
I'm trying to learn about who makes better ammo in general and which is the better option most likely for me to take.

I have a rifle that I’m wanting to cut down below 16”, can a shop do this if I take them the barreled action? I plan to put it in a chassis with a pistol brace afterwards.

So after many years, I finally paired my radian adac lower with a geissele 14.5 upper. Now I’m researching optics and mounts, mainly red dot/holos as I’m not too into lvpo or acogs. I want to have a useful home defense optic but be able to hit the range to run and gun and potentially run NV down the road. So I’m to the point it’s a buy once cry once deal. I’ve looked into the trijicon mro hd, holosun 503/515/530 and aems, multiple aimpoints, eotech and a few sig optics. As for mounts it seems like most run the scalarworks or unity mounts. Can anyone make other recommendations on some I’ve missed, add some photos of their similar setups or give me so opinions to narrow down my lists.

I had a DMR II PRO that had been lightly used since I bought it new. On the last two outings I noticed that the reticle seemed to be out of plumb. I readjusted it and took it out again. Again it got out of plumb while shooting. I sent it to Bushnell for inspection on 7/31/24. On 8/13 I received an email stating that it was indeed defective and I was to receive a new scope. On 9/5 I sent an email to customer service asking for the status of my replacement. I have yet to receive a reply. On 9/9 I called the customer service number during Bushnell's posted business hours and got a recording stating that "due to a large call volume and backlog the queue was closed. Call back later." I called back later that day but during posted business hours and got the same recording. On 9/10 I called during posted business hours and got a recording "You have called after business hours. Please call back later." On 9/11 I called during business hours and got the same recording as on 9/9. The same happened on 9/12 (today).
To summarize, after five calls in four days during Bushnell's regular business hours and one email, I cannot make contact. My conclusion is that either Bushnell has serious technical problems with their communication system and they are not interested in resolving them so as to allow contact with their customers or they have such poor products that they do not want to have contact with their customers. If the latter is true then it will not be long before the problem resolves itself because they will not have many customers to deal with.
If any of you reading this post have any suggestions as to how to get resolution to this problem or have any real insight as to why this problem exists, I would appreciate hearing from you. As of now I have decided not purchase any more Bushnell products. I guess after having outstanding customer support from Vortex, Night Force and Léopold, I have been spoiled.

I have a new xlr envy pro with bag rider, thumbrest, and a used tr2 buttstock. Cut for R700 ambidextrous. Was going on use it on a build but decided to go a different way with it. Asking 800 shipped.
