Laughing,... seems the days of getting everything you want are getting thin

Interesting that its OK for us to do that kind of shit, but when someone else does it to us, we whine like the bitches we have become, under this fucked up so called leadership. Think these faggots need too stick to, checkers.

Looking for Rzr gen ii replacement

So I’m looking to switch up my current optic from a Gen 2 Rzr 4.5-27 to something different but don’t know what direction to head. I was thinking about playing with the XRS3 with the EQL reticle, but haven’t heard much in regards to people’s opinions on the newer stuff from Bushnell, but I’m open to suggestions in that price range.

When do you know pull a barrel

The post Frank from Bartlien made about the 308 barrel with like 27k rounds made me wonder if and how people are deciding when it’s time for a new barrel. I always pulled when accuracy goes south and I can’t get it back with deep cleaning or slightly re working the load or if the velocity drops to a point that I can’t keep it stable.

Optics 2 ZCO 527 5-27×56 (MPCT-3X) 10 Mil NLE

I have 2 BNIB ZC 527 5-27×56 (MPCT-3X) 10 Mil NLE + 2 Tenebrex ARD + 2 6 MIL 1.5" Block Mounts

SKU 400-0474

Price incl shipping and insurance … PayPal/venmo/check

I would like to sell each of these as a "package"

Asking

$3800 for the scope
$100 for the ARD
$350 for the block mount
$4,250 each package

I have never touched or handled scopes and they have been in the box since I received them 5-6 months ago.

I bought 4 of these and then I sold 2 of these scopes on the Hide a couple of months ago. I still have not had any time to do anything with the last two scopes, so looking to sell.

Here is the link for the last two I sold. These are the same exact everything but adding in the Mount and ARD.

Thanks
Landon

Videos show Alec Baldwin was ‘reckless’ with guns, ‘Rust’ prosecutors say

The footage allegedly shows Baldwin pointing a prop revolver and firing a blank round at a crew member, using a gun as a pointer to direct crew members on set, and FaceTiming with his family during firearms training, among other “erratic and aggressive behavior.”

This reporting is crazy

Watching national news, on the networks….

All they talk about is the Blazing blazing, blistering HEAT. I checked the national weather. Some cities are actually having temperatures in the low 90’s but many are below 90 and some in the 70’s.

Its in the south, its in the north, its in the west…..It’s fucking summer. And frankly, it’s just not That Warm. (According to the National Weather Service which obviously has not gotten the memo ordering to report that we’re suffering global warming, democracy destroying heat)

Sounds way too much like climate propaganda. Listening to the news caster (Opinion caster??) say it, temps more than a 110 are being experienced in every city south of Fairbanks, Alaska and if we (implied) don’t start eating bugs and all of us only drive electric cars and everyone turn off their air condition, each and every one of us will be dead by 10:00 PM this evening. (That would be 10:00 PM, June 20, 2024).

Oh a little add on, they are all going absolutly crazy about Louisiana posting the 10 basic rules of justice used around the world, into our classrooms. OMG this is going to destroy our democracy. (Hope it does so we can go back to being a Constitutional Republic).

Mercury Marine layoffs

So on top of inflation which we all know is real but you have sleepy Joe saying it isn't so and jobs being created and people are making more money etc...

Then why is Mercury Marine laying off nearly 400 people from the first go around in April to another almost 300 thru this July?

Costs on everything are up and not everyone is running out buying boats and boat motors right now.

I just see more of this coming down the road in other areas of manufacturing. Not just boats.

Suppressors Muzzle device options for TBAC 338 Ultra?

I asked this a couple of months ago and got zero responses. But, I probably muddied the waters before by also asking about another can in the same post. So, trying again only simpler this time.

I just got my first 4 cans, ever, so I'm a newb and my questions may make that obvious.

I have now received my new TBAC 338 Ultra BA Gen 2 from ATF jail. A 338BA muzzle brake came with it.

I intend to build or acquire an 8.6BO, so I guess I'll hold onto the 338BA to put on that.

I also have a 308 and a couple of 223s that I would like to be able to use the 338 can on (my other suppressors all being for pistol or 22LR). None of them have muzzle devices yet.

I'm trying to understand what the best approach is.

I *think* the most straightforward is to get:

30BA brake for my 308 (which is not threaded yet)
30BA brake in 1/2-28 (so, 223 aperture) for my 223s

With the 338BA that I already have, mounted to an 8.6BO, I could move the 338 can freely between them all, correct?

But here's the rub. Numerous people have already told me "you're going to want a dedicated 223 can..."

So, I could see myself getting, maybe, a TBAC Ultra 5 or 7 6.5/223 can at some point to use on my 223s.

If I understand things correctly, the Ultra 5 or 7 can would be a CB mount and could not be used on a BA muzzle device. (correct?)

So, another option seems to be:

30CB brake for my 308
223CB brakes for my 223s
CB2BA adapter to let me use the 338 can on those until such time as I get an Ultra 7 can.

My question about that is that the TBAC website describes the CB2BA adapter as "SEMI-PERMANENTLY CONVERTS A BA SERIES SUPPRESSOR TO ACCEPT THE CB SERIES OF MUZZLE DEVICES."

So, what does that "semi-permanently" mean? Am I going to be able to easily move my 338 can around between all 3 calibers if I try to use a CB2BA adapter for the 223 and 308?

Is there more to the use of the CB2BA adapter than just screwing it into the 338 can and tightening it with a wrench?

More to removing the CB2BA adapter than just putting a wrench on to take it out of the 338 can?

I feel like I'm probably over-thinking this and I should be fine to go with the CB muzzle brakes and a CB2BA adapter that I just put in/take out of the can as needed.

ALSO-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I have no real investment in muzzle devices yet, I am completely open to a non-TBAC approach.

Is there some other brand of muzzle devices I should be looking at, with some kind of adapter to let me run BA and CB cans on it?

I keep reading about Ecco and Rearden. I looked them both up.

I see on the Ecco site where I can get an adapter to let me use a HUB can on a TBAC CB muzzle device. But, I don't see anything to let me use a TBAC BA or CB can on a non-TBAC brake.

More or less the same for the Rearden site. I don't see anything to help me with a BA can.

OR--------------------------------------------------------

Should I be considering sending my brand new can back to TBAC to get it changed to a HUB mount? I know they are offering HUB on the Ultra 5/7/9, but for some reason I have the idea that they don't even offer it for the 338 Ultra and/or they cannot change it to HUB after it's built with BA.

Thank you for any wisdom you can share on this.
