How do these things do for accuracy? This is my biggest concern.

Watched it last night…Had low expectations, and I usually steer clear of horror movies but it was actually pretty good!

Got pretty dumb in a couple places, and way too much like Quentin Tarantino’s “From Dusk ‘til Dawn” in many, but again, it was entertaining and actually had a decent plot line and message. Good sound track too.

I give it a solid B ... worth a watch if you’re bored.

Wondering if running my brake had an effect on accuracy and also whether using a neck expander or not effected accuracy. My data set is very small, I understand that, but was wondering what the results might indicate... Results are 5 shots each at 100 yards.
Equipment:
Tac Ops XRAY-51 .308, ZCO 5-27 scope, Alpha brass, Berger 115 flat base target bullet, CCI small rifle primer, VV N-135, 44.0gr. 2.190 ogive, @3025 fps. SAC modular sizing die, 334 bushing, 80 degrees, overcast, no wind.
Results:
Left side is no neck expander with 4 port Hawkins brake and with no brake.
Right side is using a 306 neck expander with the same brake and then with no brake.....

Assuming all things being equal... Not using the neck expander with No Brake appears to be the way to go. At least with my equipment. 5 shots measuring 0.097".
Tiny data set, but interesting to me.

I am assembling a 7mm-08 rifle for hunting and some range play. Do not need or want a barricade stop. Ideally I want to be able to have a 3 or 4-round flush magazine for the woods but also be able to have 10-round mags for the range.

ARC likes AW mags but I haven’t been able to find anything other than a 10-round magazine. Am I missing something?

Two options I’ve found are the Hawkins Hunter DBM and the Greyboe Hunter. Both are M5 inlet and have non-tactical magazine releases. Greyboe says theirs accepts any AICS mags, 3, 5 or 10-round but a search here didn’t turn up anything on this bottom metal. Hawkins indicates theirs accepts AICS magazines but they also sell a proprietary 4-round, flush fit magazine for this DBM. Does anyone know if you can run both the proprietary 4-round and AICS mags without diddling with the magazine latch?
