Speaking from experience only with 300 blackout subs, my omega 9k is much much louder than a full size dedicated rifle can. It's super compact, but I do not find it hearing safe with subsonics. My guess is that shooting 338 Arc through it isn't going to be that much different.

If you want something that's super compact, that you can also slap on a pistol, it's not a bad compromise. But it has its drawbacks.

Interesting... That's not at all what I have understood from their podcast and videos.

It's hard to recall who I have heard say what beyond that as I am a consumer of information, but the above were all stated by Hornady.

*I do recall Jayden or Miles also speaking of doing seating depth testing in large, measured steps rather than small amounts.

I am 50% sure I heard them say doing a seating depth test before powder selection is an option, but I might be confusing that gem with a trusted friend who has a significate amount of lab testing time.

@Masojoh yes as a matter of fact I shot some Centerx and Lapua Long Range yesterday through it. Almost identical results at 50 yards. The Long Range and the R50 were giving me just under .5” groups at 100. Luckily I have a case of each of the Lapua. I only have 6 bricks of the R50. I had Johnathan cut it for the Lapua since I haven't any Eley.
