We elect a party, not a person. The party nominates a leader. Even if we don't like the leader, the whole "vote blue no matter who" mantra.

Except the election which just happened. The liberal party was led by peter dutton, an ex-cop, and thr party suffered their worst loss in YEARS, to the point that they had formed a "coalition" with another party, the nationals, to retain balance of power.

Well the nationals have broken away and liberals are dead in the water. I think next election the nationals will be bigger than the liberal party.

The county didn't vote for who they wanted, they voted to stop dutton. Quite a few independents got in also.

Oh I'm tracking now. Yeah I do have all the measurements of the stamps. When I went to the Marine Museum, they had several unissued 1966 M40's in their vault so I documented them. I took calipers with me to measure everything and then I also took rubbings of them so if I ever encountered a rifle someone said was real, I could put overlays over the stamps to see if the markings were real.

So I mean I have the measurements. It's just I had a guy input all the measurements into a file that could be used for a laser, and that is what he lost.

i know, i know…im not a guy w a bunch of high end optics, have made due over a few decades(yea older guy w 4 grandkids approaching retirement) using mostly super snipers, first the original 10x MIL/MOA versions, then added a couple MIL/Mil ones. grabbed a PH 3-15 many years ago as my lone alpha scope. been doin rimfire comps, and some LR steel shooting w the same scopes ive had forever it seems. Im one scpoe short, for a 300WSM thats been on the back burner for ages, but ive finally been working with and getting some decent results.

anyways i walk into a shop today and see they still have a Tangent Theta 3-15 professional MOA thats been there for over a year, but theyve dropped the price to 2500, could probably get it out the door for closer to 2k cash….tempting, but i gotta admit i feel slightly disadvantaged when i pick up one of my rifles still topped off w a MOA super sniper.

thoughts? all appreciated
