Get your shit ready they're prepping us

The best thing he could do is eliminate his secret service detail and hire a bunch of formers who are paid extremely well. A bunch of barrel chested freedom fighters openly carrying combat loads. After they put a couple hundred rounds into the first guy who makes the effort, the rest will cool to the idea. If I was him I'd have had Comey in the Epstien cell months ago with nothing but a long list of federal charges including treason and a couple of rope shaped sheets.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Roads are death traps and 60+ ton beasts simply cannot move across terrain. Russian/Soviet design here is better and main battle tank should be in mid 40t range with apc being cross between Bradley and Bmp ( lower silhouette with better protection). Drones are relatively cheap but they are not all powerful as most of them miss or are ineffective. Big jammers are not the answer as they require too much power and are easily targeted. For war (not one sided beat the weak kid type of fight) its proven beyond any reasonable doubt that numbers, simplicity and good enough beats high tech super duper tech.

I saw a lot of this kind of stuff after the Northridge earthquake. They stacked railroad ties like Lincoln logs to support some of the elevated highways.

When using the temp table do you have to have it in a specific order?
If you do, is there a way to drag them about in the table, its a pain having to write everything down to re-input to get temps in a descending or ascending order when adding a temp and speed.
Shouldn't matter what order they are in

The Shot You’ll Never Forget Giveaway - Enter To Win A Barrel From Rifle Barrel Blanks!

A few days before Christmas 20ish years ago, I had a ladder come out from under me, blew up my arm & shoulder. I had a rod and a few screws put in, was in a sling strapped to my chest for 3 months.

A nephew gave me a gift cert from a local range for Christmas, then a week or so later talked me into a range trip. I took my 22/45, he rented a Deagle .50AE and hung a terrorist target at 10 yards. He kept asking me to shoot it.

So there I am, about 2 weeks after surgery, with my left arm strapped to my chest. I stepped over to his lane, picked up the Deagle, and put a round right between the terrorists eyes. I set it down and said, "That's how you do it."

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Wire guided drones are getting around the jammers.
True, but I believe there is at least one or more systems being field tested that would jam/fry their internal systems.

Reference the Leonidas system, developed by Epirus. It doesn't try to jam comms. It goes for the internal systems. It has been impressive in trials.

Then the bad guys would ramp up EMP style shielding on the drone components.

Then we would ramp up wattage and shorten wavelengths.

Then they would . . . . . and so on.

AR-10 is chewing up my brass

Reloaded brass doesn't necessarily get softer after firing and reloading ... it typically work hardens over time, but it may become thinner in certain parts and we're not seeing those issues so far in this thread. I don't think the issue is "soft" casings, but rather more a Pressure issue. Check chamber dimensions, resizing dimensions, loading pressures, etc..... likely some combination of them all.

Small base dies may be occasionally necessary, but usually only when you are seeing the web of the case grow to a point that is out of spec. I run a lot of Hornady brass through a standard resizing die multiple times without issues through my 308 and all of the other various calibers I shoot through the AR platforms... for me it's only an every now and then issue.

I would start solving this in a few steps ....
  • Back to factory ammo and see the results .... if that exhibits the same over pressure and case head issues, I would review my chamber dimensions (or have a gunsmith do it).
  • If factory ammo worked fine I would look more into the resizing of your fired cases (I wouldn't randomly reload range pick-ups - brass fired in your own chamber will become a better fit).
  • If your chamber is a little oversized (whether from reamer or poor procedure/set up or whatever) your brass may not need to be sized down or neck pushed back as far as you may think.... only the chamber and brass will tell you if you have the right fit/tolerances. Aggressive sizing can cause just as many issues as undersizing, just different symptoms. Bottom line is adjust your resizing to fit your chamber.
  • Double check your seating lengths as well
  • Without a doubt, I would back down on the pressures until everything is resolved.
  • If you're running an adjustable gas system, I'd adjust it as low as possible while making sure it still functions 100%. I don't think your pressure issues are related to your gas system
I could be wrong ... just my $0.02

Australia bans machetes

Serious question. Are the shooting sports ( rifle, shotgun, and pistol) rapidly becoming a thing of the past in the entirety of Australia? If so, amazing when one considers the geography of the entire continent.

The problem with Australia is the same thing plaguing the rest of the West. Shooting sports, self reliance, and freedom are being threatened with a two faceted blow, one from a population that is growing increasingly apathetic, complacent, and ignorant, and the second threat coming from opportunistic politicians who are taking advantage of the apathy of the general public to legislate more and more freedoms away.

Like I've long always said, a society giving up it's civilian owned weapons is merely one symptom of a serious social disease. Most of Australia's population, just like the rest of the West and first world East, are comprised of urbanites who are glued to Tiktok and Instagram. Their obsessions are with Taylor Swift, Bridgerton, fashion, keeping up with their friends' social media presences, and latest consumer goods trends.

If their Internet goes down for more than 2 hours, they will go suicidally insane.

If their "friends", most of them who will never even spend the effort to visit them in a hospital ER if they get sick, posts about a new "viral" kitchen gadget or latest snake-oil health product, they will put the priority of obtaining that item far over other things like rent and food.

However, ask them basic questions about global history and they will have no clue, nor will they be interested. Continue talking to them about history and they will call you a "creep" or tell their friends that you give them "the ick".

If you say to them that your passions are camping, fishing, hiking, and spending time in the great outdoors, love fixing and building vehicles and other things, and are mechanically inclined and good with tools, you will automatically be perceived as a potential or active serial killer, or some Breaking Bad-esque crime lord. However when these folks' plumbing goes to shit or an appliance breaks, they turn to you first begging and pleading, and expecting you to fix their stuff on a whim.

If a deranged assailant is to start hacking away at people in public or plow a vehicle through a crowd, this bunch ONLY knows how to react in one of two ways:

A: Pull out their phones and record while screaming nonsensically,

B: Stand and freeze while screaming nonsensically.

They have absolutely NO sense of self preservation nor do they care to change that. To them, weakness is essential to "being human", and "being yourself", and they consider that a sign of "being healthy". That is literally their belief system, no doubt from hours of binging quack "mental health" content on social media.

Politicians and legislators are purely opportunistic and "take what they can get". When conditions are not matching up to their inner and concealed desires, they will not even squeak or otherwise bring attention to themselves. However, when a wide open road is paved, cleaned, and green-lighted for them, only a special kind of retarded would think that they would not take advantage of it fully or give even the slightest regard about the safety of potential pedestrians on that road.

The banning of civilian owned firearms by a society is merely a sign of a much more deeper and serious problem with that society's population. If a "Battlefield: Los Angeles" style army of near peer hostile alien troops were to land right now and start picking off innocent civilians, and the governments of the world instantly reverse any and all weapons ordinances, and mandate that trailers full of military rifles and pistols and ammunition be deposited on every street for anyone to equip themselves, guess what? 90%-98% of the entire population would not know what to do with the weapons. The trailers will sit completely ignored across cities. Some might try to grab a rifle and load it, but having never had any form of exposure to these weapons before, they will get confused at how the controls work, how the magazines fit, which way do the rounds face inside the mags, etc, and throw them aside in frustration and continue running. They however, can recite every single sports stat and trivia and name every player from 1985 though...

300y ladder with 223/80.5 Berger/N540

So, ladder test at 300 yards, 100 yards, and longer distances all bad……so stop doing ladder test??
Not what I said. You have to consider what is effecting the dispersion and POI in relation to the distance. For instance on a calm day wind may not be an issue and a 300yd test might yield consistent results but it the SD/ES of the rounds is inconsistent it becomes a factor. Shot at 100yds the SD/ES is unlikely to effect the POI so the results are more consistent. Also understand that the OCW 100yd test is a different type of test trying to separate the effects than what Audette did trying to read the combined effects. The OCW was to get a uniform shot release. It then requires further testing at distance to insure the load will hold up at those distances, usually meaning that the SD/ES is good.

Let's understand that varying powder charge is not likely to significantly affect the SD/ES of the rounds. That is much more of function of components and case preparation.
