Smarter Than You

Yep, there are some things a robot may never be able to do or at least we are still a very long way aways from.

AI/Robots ain't roughing-in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC anytime soon.

They'll just print it already done.
The rough ins on track homes/multi family may be in jeopardy no doubt, but it'll be awhile. The skilled repair men are the ones that will be near impossible to replace. Too much complex physical problem solving. That'll be the way, tell your children.

The Shot You’ll Never Forget Giveaway - Enter To Win A Barrel From Rifle Barrel Blanks!

I have been chasing accurate DOPE since I began my PRS journey in February of this year. Finally at a match at Alabama Precision I found it. I RO'd the match and was a allowed a train-up day for free. I was shooting the remaining factory 144 Berger LRHT's I had left. I was able to get a pro to spot me on the 1000+ yard IPSC targets range. Got it centered up and MV calculated. Walked it back and out again. Perfection!
I go to finish off the rounds at the Alpha range at a prone platform position and shoot a diamond plate rack at 630 yards I believe. I joined another shooter that was already down on the platform to my right. He was an assuming guy. Real gent. We had talked with a vendor rep a few minutes before where I got to sound like an expert because she wanted to know out match process at stages. I get down on the platform. I peeled off a few shots on the largest target. Dead center! He took a couple too. He complimented my shooting. I got cocky and started to knock em' dead center of the smallest diamond on the rack. Maybe 3 inches. I can't be sure but it was tiny! Feeling it! I went in how great my ammo was, and how it defeats the wind, and so on and so on.
I decide to ping another shot on the smallest target and bam! Perfect again! I turn to my right and introduce myself to the young man like I was the senior guy. Mind you, I just got DOPE for the first time, never placed at a match and frankly still am a bonafide rookie! He kindly says his name was Ben. It clicked in my head at that moment that I was at a national 2-day match and this guy more than likely was a pro. Within a second or two, it hit me!
I had been "big-timing" Ben Gosset! It was a mix of surprise, embarrassment and humility all in one moment. He did not get offended and could not have been a cooler dude about it. That's the shot I remember...The one where I thought I was baddest,. most best out-shootenest hombre on the range! While popping off to a PRS, AG Cup, world champion!
The 630 yard, smallest diamond shot lesson on don't judge a book by it's cover...especially when you haven't written your first chapter on your own!

Micron Precision Bushing Sizer Not Compatible With Zero Press?

That makes sense, getting my micron into my Apex 10 tool head requires a wrench, I almost didn’t want to thread it all the way in

Micron are very good dies, they would probably be my first choice if I just wanted to decap/size. I think the mandrel on the SAC dies is a little bit better though
Unfortunately, neither the SAC nor the Area419 dies are offered in 300 Norma.

Chinese Acrobatics By a DA To Not Bring Charges

Deputy leaves his K9 partner in the patrol car while he is training. He knows that the AC doesn't work and the vehicle doesn't have a heat warning but does it anyway. He returned to the patrol car to find the dog dead.
If you assault a K9 cop there's special charges for you but they dug deep to use the Hillary defense. He didn't intend to commit the crime!! So it's all good and the taxpayers can choke up another $20K for another dog. The statement by the sheriff is truly a whitewashing of the the whole thing.
I'm going to use the "I didn't intend to speed" defense!! It's good enough for this scumbag and the skank Hillary so federal and state level are setting the precedent. Ohh wait, I ain't one of the King's men.

Micron Precision Bushing Sizer Not Compatible With Zero Press?

I have a BC Micron F/L bushing die (.308 Win)... and I had a 419 Zero press. Mine fit in the regular tool head well enough; at the time the primary concern seemed to be the fit/finish of the threads on both resulting in things being a bit too tight, or at least that was my understanding. Didn't have any problems with that. I did have a fair amount of issues with getting consistent headspace using the 419 shell holder system. Eventually ended up selling the Zero press and going back to my Co-Ax and 550 a year or so ago. For that matter, I'm considering selling my Micron die also. Like the Zero, it's *very* nice... but the ammo I loaded with it doesn't shoot noticeably better than what comes out of my LE Wilson sizers on the Co-Ax - or the 550. The hard-contact between shell holder and die body approach is over-rated, IMO.
Thanks. My problem is that the ammo I'm loading with my Redding Type-S is giving me clickers on the third firing. I'm not committed to the idea of the Micron, I just need something to size the case better near the base, and the Micron seems to be the name that keeps popping up. I'm open to other suggestions.

Company that recruited me in Dec has decided to pull out of SW VA. Left me high and dry after all of the planning and “hang tight it takes a year to redevelop an area…” Despite “you're a fantastic employee and do excellent work” I find I am again in limbo….

I met a man last year who is in trucking, OTR freight and local hot shot. He and I took a liking to each other while working together on the hurricane Helene clean up.

I have my DOT physical today.

Upped my weight on my tags to 26k this week.

75k liability ins.

Safety gear, logbook.

Ready to work for myself again 🥰

Call me hotshot I reckon. Thank God for letting me meet people who are positive, helpful and willing to give you a shot. Glad I saved that number back last winter 😇
