Yeah, I really want one of the ring caps that has the pic rail at 45 degrees as well as one of the diving boards (all for 30mm) but last time I emailed Badger about them they didn't have any on hand on no plans on making more...

Not quite. If the reticle is level to gravity, all that is assured is that the reticle is level to gravity. The reticle could be mounted wonky in the scope (not true to the erector). The scope could be mounted off level from the rifle (many people naturally shoulder their rifles off-level.)

Better to mount the scope off level to the rifle (but true to gravity when shouldered), than true to the rifle but off level when shouldered. And, it has been shown by Lowlight several times that- when the chips are down- many (most?) shooters fail to use their levels and shoot a poorly fitted rifle canted to their natural hold, and fail to correct with their levels…

Everyone curses and makes fun of Ferrari..because they are a shit show lol

But they rarely get rid of good drivers. They don’t develop well (although it could be like the cowboys in football, your expected to be better than you are), but after driving for Ferrari they usually don’t jump up the grid.

This setup is more for killing foam. My current Leicas range animals perfectly. I do not want to have to carry another piece of equipment, I want to do it with the RFB's and no separate rangefinder. I have thought about getting the Garmin sight for my hunting setup, I got the Axcel Driver sight a few months back and its pretty awesome, so I am hesitant to change it.

A degree of rifle cant is around a foot at 1000 yards by my memory. If you level the reticle and not the turrets dialing gives you about the equivalent if my memory is correct. If you level the turrets then the "zero at range" is still good when dialing. If you level the reticle then you should plan on using holdovers or accounting for the cant.

They just can’t get enough hours to set up cars differently, so by default they have to make both cars match the primary driver in the beginning of the season. Especially if he’s a carryover. They need both cars data.

That hamstrings the second driver immensely with a new team.

While I agree with you, I was hoping to see a much better showing from Sainz at Williams. Especially with how pre-season testing went. He has been there long enough, with enough time logged on the vehicle and in sims that I wouldn't have expected such a poor showing the first three races. Especially since Albon is collecting points so the car is a midpack competitive car. I was really hoping he would have a good showing at Williams since Ferrari booted him to pick up Hamilton.

I have the PWS upper x39 7.5" I was shooting all over the place. That's why I'm looking for alternate upper which give me good accuarcy at up to 100 yards or more.

I have all 3, the 7.5 the 11.8 and the 16.

I rarely shoot the 7.5, it’s more of a backpack close range toy.

But the 11.8 and 16 give good results. I don't shoot 100 yd groups with them really, rather I shoot at reduced sized paper silhouettes at 200 and 300 and various sized steel plates from 250-500. All I can say is I get the same or better hit percentages as I do with my bulk 55 grain stuff out of my ARs. I would say between 2-3 MOA with a 20 shot group is what I’m getting. I was using golden tiger, not all com block ammo is created the same. The SDs on those are really good at like 14. Like I said, really happy with it. The 11 & 16 can smack a ipsc steel plate at 500 surprisingly well (in low wind). They are nearly the same velocity.

I agree...Hamilton comes off as that fake nice and team spirit you just want to punch in the face. He might be sincere but he's got an undertone of smugness to it and I can't stand it.

I got mine out for the first time today. Not an apples to apples comparison. I mounted the recoilX on a Nomad, and shot it against a Thunder Chicken. Both from a 12.5” 6.5 Grendel.

After dicking with the RecoilX for a bit, I decided to just screw it on until it bottomed out, then tighten the lock ring. It was 5 or so degrees off level.

Wearing Axil electronic ear plugs, I didn’t notice an increase in report vs the thunder chicken. Seated from a bench, it was marginally easier to stay on target through recoil with the recoilX.

The 6.5 Grendel is a kitten, so probably not the best test bed for the thing, but I’d rate it better than “does no harm.” I only shot from 50 yards but even at that range it was easier to stay on target through recoil.
