Many around here who took the jab now showing same.

As well as many having had these issues for awhile, some never made it this far though,... Always trust your gov & the medical industrial complex, as they have a stake in the games they force on you,...

I have the sad

Well, I suppose it was inevitable. After 30 years, my boonie cap I was issued in 1995 when my unit was heading to Fort Sherman in Panama for jungle training, is getting close to being retired.

It has served me well as my fishing hat for the last several years. I'm actually surprised it has lasted this long.

I'll never get rid of it, but it may be time to pin it to the wall of my reloading room as a memory of good times had.

Anybody else got any old gear that has stood the test of time?

Entry level gun and scope

This weekend went to my first range that you could shoot 1000 plus. Looking at 300 PRC Browning xbolt long range and the Bergara B-14 hmr which would you all suggest over these? Also need some ideas on scopes. I have a couple PST Gen 2s found out they don’t have enough adjustment to shoot a mile. Looking for something entry level that’s decent I live 7 hours to closest range to be able to shoot that

Accessories $550 R700 SA MPR Chassis Christensen Arms

$550 shipped. Used this for a couple coyote outings, still in excellent shape. I did notch the rear of the handguard for my origin rail and cut the length down to fit my 16.5” barrel. Has action screws, no grip. Rifle that was in it was Zermatt Origin with 16.5” proof barrel.

SOLD $950 Tikka CTR 6.5CM 20”

I have a 20” Tikka CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. Painted the stock a while back. Comes with TBAC compatible brake, flat faced trigger, and two CTR mags. $950 + shipping or local meetup (Lincoln NE).

Probably has 500rds down the barrel, and is more accurate than I am. Typically shoot 140 ELDM or 130 Bergers federal ammo.

Can’t remember if the rail is 20 MOA or not, but I did cut the rail down for a scope to clear. Works fine.

SOLD Dillon XL650 set up for precision reloading

List attached as a picture.

Used mostly for loading all my PRS 6GT ammo, saves a ton of time on brass prep and powder + seating if your trickler(s) can keep up. Produces very high quality ammo.

Also have toolheads configured for 9/223 bulk loading.

Located in east TN, really prefer a meetup vs. shipping. Can meet at Coleman Creek NRL hunter in a few weeks, and willing to travel within a reasonable distance to get a deal done.

If someone wants it shipped, I'm willing to work that out too, just not my first preference.

Not looking to separate/part out.

Happy to get on a call etc to chat about it.

$2500

Lyman M die on 650

I was loading 308win today. Cases are Lapua on their third loading. FL sized, and trimmed with the Dillon rt1500. I put a Lyman M die in station 1 of the loading toolhead, because everything I read said that I would not need to chamfer. Somewhere I went wrong. I was seeing copper shavings after seating. Then re read M die directions, and it said to flare 1/16" at mouth. I am guessing if I go this route I will need to crimp said brass after seating? I had gone this route because everything I had read says the Dillon size/trim die really shrinks the neck and that I needed to expand it back up to .306 and that the M die would do it and also eliminate chamfering. WIN WIN, or so I thought.

The questions I have now are

1) how bad is this going to affect accuracy?
2)Should I just go back to chamfering before going onto the loading toolhead?
3)Is their a better die for this job than the Lyman to expand?
4) Is their a better die to trim with than the Dillon?

OAL for 7,62 NATO

I'm loading up 2500 or so rounds for a belt fed 1919, using cloth belts. When I seat the bullet to 2.8" (actually 2.790") I'm still .06" or so short of the cannelure. If anybody can measure a NATO ball/FMJ round for me and tell me the OAL, that would be great.
I may have a mix of pulled/new 308 and 30-06 bullets and I do have a mix of FMJ, API, AP and tracer bullets. This does complicate things, but if I get the OAL for a FMJ, I can go off of the ogive for the others.
