Firearms Beretta 92X RDO Compact 9mm

This is probably the best factory trigger I've felt on a 92 series. I wanted a 92FS railed compact but could never find one so when they released the RDO (optics ready) model I picked one up right away. I've maybe fired 100 rounds through it. Comes with the factory box, mags, paperwork, and I added a nice set of LOK G10 grips. I've got this and a 229 so I don't need both of them as I could use the cash for other projects.

$550 shipped from my FFL to yours. If you're in Michigan I will do FTF near GR for $500 with proper paperwork.

What gives the President power to create new government organizations?

As the title says, "What gives the President power to create new government organizations?"

Not knowing a did a Google search and this is what it showed:

"
AI Overview
Learn more

While the President does have some authority to reorganize the executive branch, the primary power to create new government organizations lies with Congress, meaning they must pass legislation to establish new agencies; the President cannot unilaterally create a new government organization without Congressional approval, which is typically done through acts of Congress, not solely through executive power vested in the President by Article II of the Constitution.

Key points to remember:
  • Limited Reorganization Power:
The President does have some limited authority to reorganize existing executive branch agencies through "reorganization plans," but these plans usually require Congressional approval or oversight.

  • Executive Vesting Clause:
Article II of the Constitution grants the President broad executive power, but this power is generally interpreted as the ability to manage and direct existing agencies, not to create new ones without Congressional involvement.

  • Congressional Authority:
The power to create new government agencies and departments primarily rests with Congress, as they enact laws establishing these entities. "

If this is true how does he get away with creating the "Department of Government Efficiency"?
I also found this. I haven't heard or read anything about Congress granting him the approval to do so.

Rifle Scopes Best optic aroumd 2k with mil discount

Looking for a new scope geared toward hobbyist PRS/long range. Through the years I've owned most everything in the $3500 and under price tag. Always purchased used or paid full price. Was never aware of places like expertvoice or govx that offer veterans some hefty discounts. Fast forward to today, with so many options and so many big names offering discounts to veterans. I dont feel like I'll be shooting at an level that requires me to spend 4k on a new optic. Im sure they are fantastic, but prices are getting out of control. I've owned Kahles, NF ATACRS, vortex gen2 and gen 1 razors, schmidt, Leupold mk5, premier, and a wide variety. What I ended up settling with 5 years ago were Minox ZP5 scopes on my longrange rifles, and I still have a few. For my eyes, these are leaps and bounds above the atacrs and vortex stuff at the time. These could always be picked up in the classifieds for under 2k, and Minox even had a 50 percent off promo once.

So, now that I'm aware of all the fantastic patriotic companies that offer discounts to veterans. And all the new options and advancements, is there something new as good as the Minox in that 2k to 2.5k price range with the discount? Leupold and NF definately make some of the toughest and well regarded proucts, but not my preference for this application. I feel like there may be something newer, that has better glass. Maybe just go with what I know and pick up another Minox, but I got nervous when a company gets out of the game.

I've found the following to offer substantial discounts, either direct, through expertvoice, or gov x. I have never owned or tried the longrange optics from a few of these, but do notice they get great press.

Leupold
Nightforce
Vortex
Steiner (never owned )
Leica (never owned )
Burris
Zeiss (never owned)
Trijicon

Anyone use a professional money/investment manager? What has been your experience?

As the title says, I'm looking to get some real world feedback from folks who use or have used professional money/investment management services. Based on the number of TacOps, AI and MRAD shooters here, there must be a decent few of you 🤣 Alternatively if you work in this line of work, I'd love to pick your brain privately.

I'm pretty fortunate to make a pretty decent living and have always lived below my means. I've mainly been saving cash and maxing out retirement plans, but over the last several years have been investing in equities. My original plan was to split $XXXX per month between DJIA, QQQ and SPY index funds, with lesser amounts going towards some other ETFs and individual equities I thought had promise.

With the markets only going up and VIX staying low, however, I've been putting off the investments into index funds worried that a sharp correction is coming.

I've realized that it may be in my best interest to hand this job over to someone else and have been speaking with a JP Morgan private client banker and investment manager. They do seem to have put together a pretty solid plan for managing all aspects of my finances and attaining life goals but now we're at the make-a-decision phase and I'm a bit resistant to change, so getting cold feet. I was thinking some real world feedback may help me come to a decision.

Advanced Marksmanship Eye Issues and shooting

I’m on the post Cataract surgery side in my support/weak eye and wondering how a shooter deals with shots from the support side with compromised vision. Before surgery I was 20/440 and now am closer to 20/40 in that eye. My focus is more for hunting, but see it possible in some competitions too.

I’ve been trying to not shoot like a cross eyed dominant novice.

300 PRC Powder / Bullet combinations for 20in short barrel

New to the 300 PRC and looking for some input on powder / bullet combinations.

First of all, got a 20in short barrel. Purpose is mostly hunting. I was planning on using N570, keep it simple - have that here for the 375 cheytac anyway. Will be shot supressed.

My thought process so far is to go with bullets on the heavier side, ordered some 220gr ELDX for the slower burn rate of the powder. Have some 178gr ELDX here but not sure I even want to bother developing a load for those.

Maybe someone here has experience with a short barrel or even with 20in and N570 that you are willing to share? Thanks in advance!
