AB Android version is currently in BETA Testing. I will push out a notification when that version releases.

Do you have a free trial version that would allows us to try before we buy?
Or maybe a coupon code?

Just curious why banded BCs were dropped - seemed to work well with Sierra BC data, which is expressed in that format.

IOS update is working very well for me . Have tried three different rifles and 5 different bullets out to 1k , very happy so far .
As with any solver , it can only be as accurate as your inputs ; scope tracking , sight height , velocity , environmentals etc etc .
Looking forward to getting custom drag curves in the future .

Trying to enter a DA in a negative value but it reverts back to 0 when i hit done. Could somebody tell me what i may be doing wrong?

Don't think the app is set up to run negative altitude . To use station pressure instead of altitude , switch off " use density altitude " in preferences . Then go into a rifle profile ,
select a bullet then hit " pressure is absolute " function . You can then enter station pressure at you location , if you have a device for that information ( Kestrel or similar ) .
I live in a hot climate and never get negative DA , but I could see that if you are at sea level and in cold weather , it may be necessary .

I seen in a tutorial on a post here on snipershide where they showed an actual screen shot from the program using a negative DA with the android operating system so i am not sure what i was doing wrong. I could do as you mentioned but i would prefer to stick with DA if possible. Im in michigan and during winter its common to see DA of -300 to -1000 on the cold days so it would be nice to be able to use it.

I followed Doc's advice about doing a clean install, then found when I tried to Web Sync, my login was refused. The login is correct - works with AB store - so I tried the password reset and can't get one sent to my email even though I get the message to check email for further instructions. I tried asking Doc to just send a reset link manually (since I get emails from AB) but no response from him. Has anyone else had this problem and if so were you able to fix it? Others beware of the clean install!!!

Similar issue here. I used the WebSync to sync from my device to the web prior to doing the clean install, but afterward my login was refused and no attempt to password reset would work. I found no way to fix it.

Your websync login you would have registered in the app. It is not your login for our online store, it would be specific to what you created inside the app.

Understood - but regardless the Password Reset option does not work for some of us. As I mentioned in my last email and the voice mail I left for you a couple weeks ago, my ISP is not blocking the automated process. Tried the reset link on your webpage again this morning and no email with instructions. As I asked in my last email and voice mail, can you send a temporary password manually. Since I get your emails, that will allow me to resolve the immediate problem.

Thanks,

Dave

AB app on android is acting all kinds of screwy... Update soon??

Figured part of it out.. I couldn't click on MV because I was running a ballistic calibration. Other thing is it keeps saying app has unexpectedly closed. Maybe cause I'm still running on KitKat... Not sure there.

Anyone have any issues with the update on a fresh install? Still running iOS 10.1.1 phone is an iPhone 7 Plus. Data was showing about 1.5Mil high, might have gotten that fixed but now it will keep the DA I enter manually. Still there still an issue with entering G1 vs G7 BCs?

Anyone else still having issue with web sync after the latest update for IOS? I did a clean install on both my iPad and my phone. Rebuilt my profiles on my iPad sync'd to the cloud then to my phone. The profiles that get sync'd to my phone have bad data in them. For example I built a profile with the 140 hybrid on my iPad that works as expected. Shows a BC .311. Which in turn shows 8.2ish mils to 1000 yards. I sync that profile to my phone and is shows a BC of .459. Which in turn show 6.9ish mils to 1000 yards.

We are in the process of a major update for Android and iOS. The Websync issues have been resolved in the update, but we need to finish up some advancements before we can release it. I promise the wait will be worth the new features.

Thanks for the reply Doc. Any rough estimates on how far off a release may be?

I was just about go to get the android version. Should I just wait until the update is out to get it?

Will this update fix the password reset problem. I tried again earlier today, got the message to check my email -- but no email. This has been a problem now for over three months - if not addressed in the update, how do we resolve it?

Send me a support ticket, and I will pass it along. [email protected]. This way we can properly track the ticket.

I sent the support ticket - have not received any indication that it was received or someone is following up on it. Still unable to reset password through the auto-reset, still no explanation as to why you can't send a manual reset so I can use the WebSync.
