I got into the cluster fuck of trying to get some IMR 8208 from powder valley a few moments ago. And by the end of the struggle to keep the page fucking loaded, I finally entered CC info and submitted and it locked up. Then I got the ORDER ON HOLD message. I am assuming this is the you just got fucked message, anyone ever get this from them?

Dude, I have been waiting and waiting, and as soon as a notification goes out, the website is screwed.... Frustrating... I was just hoping I guess that maybe my order went through but they just had to verify orders vs quantity on hand..

8208 has been in a few times. I was 4 minutes late to this one. Checked phone after getting out of the shower and they had stuff when I got to the site a few min later. I looked around for a minute and it was all gone, but that's still about 3 min longer than stuff has been lasting so far.

Hell yeah it was me.... I started at Varget and then said fuck it, I know there's a million gunbroker salesman trying to buy this shit, I need 8208, it said out of stock on the main page, I clicked into it and then it became available so I guess they had just updated it so I ordered 10lbs... From the oder point on though was like a 10+ minute endeavor just trying to pay for it... I hope so too friend...Try to put them in the cart and check out

Check again. I put 8208 and H4350 in the cart and went to the point of entering a credit card... Expensive experiment to go past that.
I've seen small quantities become avaialable after the main drop. Probably cancelled orders of people putting in multiples, exceeding qty limits etc?
Haha I got lucky and picking up a keg of varget tomorrow morning..for less than PV price. I feel like I hit the lottery on that one so not so depressed about the 8208
This happens a lot, sometimes up to 24 hrs after a drop.
Keep checking PV they’re getting drops weekly.

Each order I managed to get through was because notifications went out for a different product and I went looking for what I actually wanted. If their is one powder in stock from Hodgdon their is typically going to be other instock also. Besides Retumbo. I’m convinced that it doesn’t actually exist.
I have tried that to an extent, I just haven't been lucky yet.. I thought this was my time, guess not.. I am gonna hold out hope that maybe I'll receive an email or something tomorrow but I won't hold my breath...
I definitely will keep an eye on things....
I’d recommend staying signed in to all the sites, and when you get the notification just put in your CC. That’s what I’ve been doing for primers.
Would your order have been secured if you hadn't called?
I emailed them as soon as it happened, but I'm happy to hear that, it gives me hope at least.. I had planned on a phone call first thing in the AM...
They need a server and hosting upgrade. Their site is awful and gives server errors nonstop when they post anything.
It was unusual because I encountered the site freeze and re-entered and did it again. The next morning I had two order numbers, one showed hold status, the other cancelled. I called to ask if either were any good, and they pushed one of them through after the call. It is possible that they would have shipped one or both without a call... hard to say for certain.

H1000 was back too. I couldn’t check out with that one though. Qty Dropped as I went through checkout
I checked my account the next morning and saw the orders. I had no idea the night of if I had anything. When I checked it looked like the picture except one said hold rather than complete.

Ya'll must not remember their website prior to it's current iteration....it was text only up until about 2014-15. I kind of miss the old site it was quaint.

That was by far the most exciting internet purchase i have encountered.. Seen varget and H1000 and hit 10 of each, Was good all the way to check out, then decided to see what else i needed, added 3 more powders, then got check out errors on QTY of Varg and H1000, lowered those, all good, then got Qty error on the other 3, LOL it never stopped until all my varget and H1000 was gone....lowered items to what cart said was available several times. had to lower the 8208......... didnt think i was going to get any..... I should have not gone back for the other 3 powders...... made me loose the varget and H1000 as it was selling as i was fn around. Got H4350, H335 and 8208 though...... Better then what i had yesterday.
SUCCESS, called powder valley this morning and they said my order was good. The reason I received that Order on Hold was because that's what you get when there is any discrepancy in like your address or something on your card. I guess its where my shipping and billing addresses were different...
I purchased 10lbs of 8208 and I feel like I just struck gold... Hahaha, funny how we can get excited about the little things...
If you see something you want you better grab it rfn, barely time to buy anything let alone find enough shit to max out the hazmat. I’ll usually go for the in demand shit first and secure that, then go back if I need something like pistol powder.
