Yep, I used to live about 10 minutes from there. Doesn't surprise me at all.

They’ve taken the fun out of drunken commuting for sure now, bicycle’s,lawn mower’s & even horses are off limit’s to the inebriated.
Is she single?
Asking for a friend,

great battery, who would have thought

Battery tech is improving by leaps and bounds literally with every minute these days. They got electric kick scooters now that can take an adult rider up to 30 miles on a single charge and at speeds of 18+ miles per hour. All of the Chinese moms in my area are using them to take their kids to school in the morning. They do look convenient as all hell and some cities are even installing e-scooter rental and parking docks. I still will not be caught dead on one of these things though LOL. I'll fucking hide my face in a ski mask if I ever have to ride one of these.

I wonder if they had it towed or put it in the cops station wagon?
Probably got pulled over for driving the wrong direction?

There was a fellow in a county where I used to live that got a DUII when riding a bicycle drunk on a public road. I would be OK with him getting something like a drunk in public arrest, but I never could figure out why his conviction was recorded at the Department of MOTOR VEHICLES, because his vehicle didn't have any motor on it.

According to this mornings Ny Post, the local DA is not pressing charges of DWI. The charge of being a waste of Humanity, is still on the docket sources said.

The law around here specifies any vehicle, which is defined as anything capable of carrying a person on a roadway. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, etc. What about shoes? Do shoes “carry a person?” Can you get a dui for walking unless barefoot?

Seems to me like it shouldn’t be a dui unless you are driving something that requires an operator’s license. But even then, I don’t think dui charges should stick unless there is an accident and it’s your fault. No harm no foul. Anything less isn’t freedom to me. It’s oppression.

In OR. DWI enforcement , ( brother sat on jury trial ) it does not matter if your even in a vehicle . Guy was arrested charged walking on side of road, no where near his vehicle . You go to jail if you have car keys in your pocket .The ' Key's ' translate to ' Intent to drive ' .

What is upsetting about this is that I have done plenty of shooting with Softcock at a gun club where we were both members, and he has plenty of credibility with me. I would be in deep trouble as my house keys and car keys are on the same key ring assembly...

If I were on the jury, and the guy had his car keys in his hand, and his hand on the car door, I would believe he had intent to drive. However, I would think it was too much of a stretch if the guy was walking down the road with his keys in his pocket. I think most guys have their car and house keys on the same ring.

Never under estimate! I know someone that got a dwi on a lawnmower
