Few things:
1. Those large dump trucks aren't going anywhere easily.
2. This protest has gotten so distributed that it will stretch any response, exacerbating how long it will take to unwind this if the Canadian government decides to not negotiate.
3. I fully expect that even if they move one group out of an area another group will reform elsewhere to do the same thing. This has a high chance of turning into whack-a-mole.
4. GDP is being affected. THAT wont be put up with for very long. Bringing down the GDP for Covid is one thing, but bringing it down to protest for freedom of choice and against the government edicts will not be tolerated - there isn't a government on this earth that will allow its citizens to impact its GDP. From a neutral view, they really can't over the long term and will be forced to do something. What that something is remains to be seen.
