We can drive golf carts from our neighborhood down the road along the lake to the 3 little city "parks/boatramps/fishing/etc..." Total distance of the road is ~2 miles. Perfectly legal according to the officer we chatted with.

But god forbid we take a SxS which is FAR more road legal than a golf cart on the same road and suddenly its a problem.

This. My deer lease is 1/2 mile down state highway from campground. Honda Pioneer 1000 will safely do 45-50. Has rear view mirror, brake lights, head lights. Illegal. Put a farm hazard triangle on the back and carry a shovel, legal. So stupid
