Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater of Euro sports cars. I grew up racing dirt bikes and drag cars and got to take some fast Porsches, BMWs and even a 365 BB on road tracks. But I'm mostly partial to cars I wrenched on and drove. A friend bought a brand new 69 Z and got the 4 wheel disc brake option, factory headers (delivered in the trunk with cast iron manifolds bolted on) chambered exhaust and cross ram dual 4 barrel intake. I helped install a roller cam and mod the suspension. It was a road car but could put down mid-to upper 12s in the quarter once Lonnie got some good rubber on the back. It was a blast to drive, defining "throttle response". We all raced dirt bikes, so we knew how to make low torque motors get up on the pipe. I miss those days every now and then.

In Lafayette in the mid 60’s they would crank the air raid siren at straight up noon! You could set you watch to it. It was loud! 😳

Growing up in in the PRNJ, most Fire/EMS services were "voluntary.." And those air raid type sirens were how the volunteers responded to a fire/EMS call before they got pagers and now cell phones. When I left the volunteer EMS service they were still using Motorola "Minitor II" pagers.
But they'd still sound the siren once a day for testing when they also tested our pagers by testing them at the same time.

Biden shut down the Keystone pipeline and stopped drilling on public lands
Was the Keystone Pipeline completed, to be later shutdown later by Biden; what impact would have occurred if completed? Was the U.S. oil production voluntarily reduced during COVID because of travel restrictions worldwide? Albeit, Russia is a major supplier, are not oil imports to the U.S. global, purchasing based on lowest cost? Just asking...
