I'm in NE Kansas..........grew up in NW Missouri............I can remember when was a kid, we would come home with large paper grocery bags full of morel mushrooms...........2 or 3 of them full.............but that was more than 50 years ago...........I still like to go out and look for them, but lucky if I find enough for a good mess any more........

Have wondered about spores and “seeding” for them in prime spots?
Saw a show about folks making “rotting log spots” in the timber to grow mushrooms.
Not CO funny ones, just Morels and other good edible ones.

I see pictures of those and read about them on multiple forums. They don’t grow around here. I feel like I’m missing out on a large part of life.
I must be the only person who hates mushrooms.
