Is something going on in Ukraine?

M/Y Amadea (value around 340M) is now under US possession, although since none of the existing crew was willing to work to get the vessel from Fiji to US, they are awaiting new crew before they can move it. Theoretically, the "bounty" is supposed to go to the highest bidder in auction with proceeds to "rebuild Ukraine"; but the US is being very secretive. Who thinks this will end up as a DNC/Hunter party yacht vs. actually being auctioned?

Senator Rand Paul blocked a bill to allocate $40 billion to Ukraine.

Democratic and Republican leaders in the Senate tried to speed up the receipt of a nearly $40 billion U.S. aid package to help Ukraine in its fight against Russia, but were blocked by Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (Democrat, New York) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (right, Kentucky) came together to the Chamber to demand unanimous consent from all 100 senators for an immediate vote on the bill.

Mr. Paul objected. According to the rules of the Senate, it may take several days for the bill to be put to a final vote without his consent. It is expected that it will pass by an overwhelming majority. The House of Representatives passed the law 368 to 57 late on Tuesday with the support of all Democrats and most Republicans. All the legislators who voted against were Republicans.

Mr. Paul insisted that language be added to the bill that would give the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction oversight of the money and weapons that the United States sends to Ukraine.

"You shouldn't throw away all 40 billion dollars without any supervision. And having a special inspector general, we did it in Afghanistan — it didn't stop all the embezzlement — it at least makes thieves think twice before stealing money."

Mr. Schumer proposed a vote on Mr. Paul's amendment at the 60-vote threshold, but Mr. Paul said he wanted the wording to be included in the bill without a vote.

"I swear an oath to the Constitution of the United States, not to any foreign nation… We cannot save Ukraine by dooming the U.S. economy," Mr. Paul said. He also expressed concern about the additional borrowing needed to finance the package.

It is expected that this obstacle will be overcome in the near future. It was not possible to achieve complete unanimity one way or another, which has already blurred the blissful picture

Enroute from Fiji to US? Doubt it - but I would love to see that...or better yet...

The US also acquired M/Y Tango, and is trying to get ahold of (allegedly Putin's) 700M M/Y Scheherazade - now that's a vessel with over 30 staterooms and could hold a heck of a party - could fit several hundred/close to 1K guests.

military will buy it, Nancy pelosi will fund it; Dems will party like it's 1999.....

So, could you just imagine, another major election "goes their way", and all the DNC leaders, RINOs, constitution/mil. traitors, deep state heads and Obama/Xiden's cabinets decide to have a celebratory party on Amadea/ Scheherazade and then somehow the Russian owner finds the "self-destruct" remotes? Almost like the Kingsman ball scene but better. That would be more efficient than Russia nuking DC!!

Moscow claims Ukraine tried to infect the pro-Russian population in the Lugansk People’s Republic with tuberculosis (TB) and allowed the Pentagon to carry out human experiments at Kharkov’s psychiatric wards.
During a briefing on the findings of the Russian Defense Ministry’s investigation into the purportedly US-funded bioweapon labs in Ukraine, Chief of Russia’s Radioactive, Chemical, and Biological Protection Forces Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov claimed that Russian forces had obtained evidence suggesting Kiev attempted to infect residents of the Slavyanoserbsk district of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) with a highly pathogenic strain of tuberculosis in 2020.
“Leaflets made in the form of counterfeit banknotes were infected with the causative agent of tuberculosis and distributed among minors in the village of Stepovoe,” Kirillov said, adding that the organizers of this crime took into account the behavior of children, which includes “putting things in their mouth” and handling food without washing their hands.
Kirillov stated that the results of the bacteriological studies confirmed the resistance of the isolated bacteria found on the leaflets to first and second line anti-TB drugs, which meant that the disease caused by them was much more difficult and expensive to treat. This is called “weaponized.”

He went on to quote the conclusion of the Lugansk Republican Sanitary and Epidemiological station, which stated that “the infection of the banknotes was most likely artificial, since the material contains extremely dangerous strains of the pathogen in a concentration that can ensure infection and the development of the tuberculosis process.”
Kirillov added that the LPR TB dispensary also noted signs of “deliberate, man-made contamination of leaflets with biomaterials of high pathogenicity.”

Rand Paul is an American hero

Its just temporary, he is asking for someone to be responsible for where the money goes (he doesn't trust 40B handoff); he's not fighting the aid or bill itself. If he could get the government to spend it on OUR wall, or our citizens, then he would be a hero.

yeah, it just goes to show how low our expectations have become when it comes to government.

Yes, your math is wrong.

400 Million X $1,000 = $400 Billion.

Even still, this 400 million mark doesn't account for all taxable or tax paying entities. It is an important detail.
I've read somewhere that Businesses pay over 90% of all taxes received by U.S. Governments, Federal, state and local.

Not sure how that is broken down, but that detail is conveniently absent from Sanders, Pelosi and Ocasio-Cortez's fist pounding about the top 1%, their discussions on how to bleed U.S. Businesses' dry, or how those same businesses are not paying their fair share.
You ain’t joking 44k$ on taxable income of 82$ (eighty-two dollars).

Head of Odesa regional administration confirmed auxiliary vessel of Russian Navy VSEVOLOD BOBROV (IMO: 4726999) caught fire near Zmiiny island as result of actions of Ukrainian army

Altogether, Russian Navy losses in this conflict are appalling, taking into account total lack of adversary – Ukraine doesn’t have Navy worth mentioning, virtually none at all, except some boats.

Defender of the Republic. I noticed on twitter he was getting torched by pro war lefties, really vile shit. Funny how if you call someone "retarded" on Twitter you get banned, but it's totally cool to tell a U.S. Senator that they should be sodomized by inmates, and yet that does not get banned?

Something is wrong with this picture!

ah, Fuck. so much for my new twitter account. :cautious:

Yeah, "retarded warmonger" I was banned for "hate speech" two days into my account, HAHA!
I thought the foreign guy had reinstated our Constitutional Freedom of Speech on twitter?

edit: I see that Biden's Ministry of Propaganda now wants certified Information Commissars to be able to edit wrong opinions on twitter.

Just one more list. America has just become one more pound on an elephant. Here's an idea. Let's work on saving our own ass before we save the world's ass.

Saving our own ass only pays them their agreed upon government employee wages.
They are trying to save their cash cow / money laundering operations, if not actually using this "emergency" to siphon even more money out of the situation to line their pockets with.

JUST IN: The U.S. has now sent 89 of 90 howitzers offered to Ukraine, the majority of them in a "forward deployed" area near the battlefield: senior U.S. defense official

Most of the claims turn out fake. Vsevolod Bobrov parked in Sevastopol no fire damage to bee seen.

Ukraine has a navy most of its sunk , but honestly Ukraine at present has just about the most well funded military in Europe, curtesy of US taxpayer, US bags of cash in past 2 months alone , are equal to 2/3 of Russian defense budget and that covers all from nukes to subs, and ukraine has no big-ticket items add to that rest of NATO supply and funding Ukraine outspends Russia. The problem is they might run out of bodies before they run out of US cash.

Ukrainian ISR is second only to US , they are basically feed all the NATO ISR plus 200 or so commercial satellites. They don't need a navy . Just missiles and someone abroad feeding the targeting data.

One of these days i wouldn't be surprised if Putin decides to escalate and one of the ISR flights is shot down by 'accident' , malfunctioning missile, and such. Its a very unusual proxy war.

Ya one stupid sob.

Putin is old and looking feeble.
These dumbasses keep pushing his buttons. We are not at war.

Putin is running out of options in my opinion and that seems to be what democrats want.

I would not put it past him to push a button on his way out.

That won't make biden look better.
Nothing will at this point.

Make no mistake Putin is not ruining America, biden is.

I wonder if you have read any previous pages or information from this thread, or did you just pop in for a little "Hooo-Raaa!" comment? I am guessing you would be surprised if you found out that the Russians are the ones fighting against battalions that are lead by actual idealized Ukrainian Nazis, you know the ones who believe in the white Aryan race, and read Mein Kamph. Yes, the same group Democrat Senators warned Republicans against arming three years ago. Sure fuck Putin, but let's at least have some intellectual honesty about things.

Life is full of little ironies, isn't it.

Kazakhstan will produce Turkish drones
As part of the visit to the Kazakh delegation cooperation agreement between TUSAŞ and Kazakhstan Engineering.
Production of Turkish strike drones ANKA will be established in Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Turkish aerospace company TUSAŞ on Wednesday, May 11.
It is stated that a contract for the supply of ANKA drones was signed with the Kazakh side last year. A few days ago, during the visit of the Kazakh delegation to Ankara, a new cooperation agreement was signed between TUSAŞ and Kazakhstan Engineering - already on the joint production of ANKA drones in Kazakhstan.
UAV maintenance and repair will also be carried out at a joint venture in this country.
Thus, Kazakhstan became the first foreign country where the production of ANKA drones will be established.

This 100%

Biden is completely fucking up much of the worlds economy, on purpose. Build Back Better implies you have to destroy things first
"we will destroy the old world down to it's foundations, and create one anew"
-lyrics of "the Internationale" (Marx-Leninist hymn of world revolution)
also the avowed purpose of the WEF and DNC

democrats are good for two things; raising taxes and starting wars
leftists are only peaceful until they have the power to imprison or persecute their political enemies. at that point they turn into the Stalinists that they always were.

Ideologically, leftists will always be Trotskyists bent on world assimilation. Even Trotsky realized at the very end that Stalin was true to marxist ideology.

I see we've forgotten this guy:

At least gas and ammo were cheap.
he was in a rough spot because Bill's policies and inaction led to what he walked into. tough call on this one and let's not forget, any assassination attempt or planning on sitting or past president by foreign gov't is considered a act of war

Yes I have read through a lot of the information in this thread, it’s very interesting and enlightening but probably not the same way for me as you. The Russian agitprop that spreads ideas like Ukraine is Nazi is like saying the US is Nazi because there are some Nazis in Idaho.

Not to disparage your sources but I also like to read US and European newspapers and journals and talk to Ukrainians and Russians as well to get a wider perspective. I imagine that Finland and Sweden might have missed this thread on Snipers Hide, but I’m sure they would change their minds about joining NATO if you could send them some of this info and explain what is really happening.

Yes, Putin is doomed. When an oligarch publicly puts a 1M bounty on him that is a sign of things to come. I also have three close Russian friends who are professional colleagues and things are changing quickly.

Here is just one random thing I’ve read today, from today’s Wall Street Journal:
“With Russia’s monthlong offensive in Donbas showing only limited results, a bold attempt to cross the Siverskyi Donets and encircle Severodonetsk that Russian forces began ahead of Victory Day on May 9 was meant to achieve a breakthrough. Instead, the failed crossing near the village of Bilohorivka has turned into a disaster for Russia, significantly slowing its momentum in Donbas.
The full scale of this Russian setback is emerging only now, with satellite imagery showing more than 70 Russian tanks, armored personnel carriers and other armor destroyed after Ukrainian artillery and airstrikes sank three pontoon bridges and shelled the Russian beachhead in Bilohorivka.
“We have never seen such dumb stubbornness, going with a frontal assault and trying to build pontoons in the same place three times in a row. But they still keep trying,” said Luhansk Gov. Serhiy Haidai. He added that Ukrainian artillery keeps shelling the area and, according to intelligence intercepts, an entire Russian battalion is refusing orders to attempt yet another crossing in Bilohorivka. That claim couldn’t be independently confirmed.”
