I even knew I didn’t have all the variables and that it wouldn’t actually get a true speed seeing as how the tree just happened to be 175ft away from where the skid started.

That is only approximate because it doesn't take into account environmental conditions (temp, humidity, wind), tire condition, width and rubber compound, weight of the vehicle, how many tires were in contact with the road, type of asphalt and condition of the road surface.

Yeah I did the math and you conveniently left out half the variables.

Also as I said before the tree stopped the skid, the car didn't just slide to a stop so the math wouldn't really be correct anyway as the car may have slid farther without the tree in the way.

I have been on this site for a long time and don't recall very many people claiming to be the best at anything. Those kinds of people usually get worked over pretty hard.

Here's some advice how to survive in the pit. Don't brag about how many bow kills you have, how many HVT's you have engaged, how many years you have worked in concrete, how much you can bench, how much you like Harris bipods, or that you are a friend of Theis. Follow those simple rules and things will be okay.
