Biden banning sale of Lake City to Civilians

Taking that much of the .223/5.56 off the market won't just buttfuck every other source of this caliber, but other common "military" calibers as well

You think m193 and any other govt ammo won’t be next? If he gets away with this it’s only the beginning.
M193 isn't much better than M855. Better, but not much.

No, i think he'll go for all of it. This is just an opportunity for me to piss on m855.

I have found, however, that I it makes passably ok 'mexican match' by pulling the projectile and replacing it with any 55gr lead core bullet. Takes 3-4 moa ammo down to 1-2 moa ammo.

I wonder what this will do to the value of my meager stash of pulled SS109 projectiles...

Give it a new designation and mark it for civilian sale...

I read somewhere that the XM855 and MX193 that we see on store shelves is- essentially- blems and assorted ammunition that failed to meet mil spec. I don't know if that is actually the case or not. But, if it is, XM(whatever) is not mil ammo, because it fails the spec.

You are correct sir.

Shoots as good as TulAmmo...

Yeah Obama tried this as well via the ATF. It’ll be interesting to see what actually happens. Either way prices will go up and people will panic buy
he can't restrict ammo like this as the SC already ruled ammo is part of the 2a on top of that, the commerce clauses have been ruled on to invalidate EO to civilians. Winchester is civie company, not subject to EO etc etc

So what happens to this now "excess" production? Ship it to Ukraine, export it to other countries? LOL - the government will just buy all of the "excess" production the government doesn't buy. If that makes sense...

A start business man would transition the "M193" line to "55gr FMJ" and the M855 line to "62 gr steel tip FMJ."

I hope your right, but all of what you said while correct is dependent upon Winchester having a spine, this is the government equivalent of the mob coming in and telling you your store is really nice it would be shame if something happened to it.

This looks more and more like the "gun show loophole." We all know that individuals must to a 4473 and background check when buying from FFLs at gun shows. But, the left keeps going after and trying to close that "gun show loophole..."

Military ammunition is destined to the military. Civilians can't buy military ammunition. The 855 and 193 that you buy in the store would be best described as 855 or 193 "clone" ammunition. Doesn't meet mil spec. Not blem, as I wrote earlier, but first run ammunition built for the civilian market. At least according to the article above. This would totally negate Biden's order. The ammunition in question is not military ammunition.

Lake City 55gr plinking ammo....
Not much of a marketing thing like "Tactical" or "MilSpec".
But might be the end-run around the retard's order.

Federal xm193 was great for 3 gun. Short range, accurate enough.

The Winchester and frontier crap is complete crap. Wouldn't surprise me if it's all stuff that failed QC. Over and under pressure, 5moa accuracy is good per lot, etc. At least I could hold 2moa or less with Federal across lots.

It’ll be a Republican landslide. Which is the “show” obviously.

I have met enough of these folks to tell you that every one of them aced Drama class in High School and they all kiss the Globalism ring.
After stealing 1 election, what exactly is the thing that makes them not want to steal another ?

Dear Biden - thanks for energizing the midterm turnout.
Trump got more votes in the last election than any president in history, except for Biden in the last election. They do not care because as Biden said leading up to the last election. They don't need your vote. They will not perform constitutional audits so the people know their representation has not been removed. They will do it again and again, as they already have been. Obama received 100% of the vote in plenty of PA districts, as well as having videos of black panthers intimating voters at poling places.

They banned Russian ammo.
And now we just get more of it from Bosnia and Czech Republic.

If Biden gets his way - somebody else will step up production.
Supply and Demand rules the human experience.

It doesn't specify what the 'steps' are that are being taken to stop the sale of excess ammo. Would there be a stipulation in their contract for this? If not, it doesn't seem possible that they can just decide to do something like this, as much as they would like to. Of course, it would take someone with deep pockets to challenge it. NRA?

I’m sorry, were you serious?

Funny thing is, US v Miller 1939, that was used to validate the NFA, basically says that the only stuff not able to be regulated is stuff appropriate to combat. It goes so far as to cite colony rules and early state constitiutions that required people to show with specific arms and minmum specified amounts of powder and ball when mustered. It also shows the then definition of who the milita were, including old farts to 60 and emergency lists. They also cite how objectors or those unable to afford the costs were to be dealt with. Imagine the state being required to arm those that could not afford it.

They don't have to steal an election. A House/Senate/Oval Office packed 100% full of Republicans would do NOTHING whatsoever to the power on the ground of the people who actually run all of this shit.

If you hold power in the USA its because you fit in the popsicle mold...the average Republican and the average Democrat can't even remember which one of them is which.

So they will "restore faith in the US election system" by allowing the Republican flavored toilet logs to float to the top for a bit.

Face value this is bad and shameless. Then again, this is the same dumb faggot that realistically has like a 4% approval rating.

However.

Those contracts are agreed upon with the contractor having civ sales on the back end. Its built into the overall bid. Ceasing overrun sales would literally kill their margins because of how it was factored in during the bid.

Regardless, even if this did happen, it's not stopping anything. Why? Because all that will happen is that those components will be 'sold' to some subsidiary or to another plant and made into the same ammo, skirting this whole thing.

The ammo isn't going to just magically disappear. Plus, who the fuck shoots 855 when 193 exists?
