Yes, but it could also be said that there was a full court press to deceive and press very hard on the protection instincts and fears of those mothers. Are they ultimately responsible for not thinking for themselves? Absolutely. But don’t think that those pushing that false narrative are not without blame for their contribution to this tragedy. Those people deserve the overwhelming pain these mothers have to bear in their souls.
