My thought is that at least 50% of American voters are fucking idiots and dumber than a tree stump. That goes doubly for these so-called "independent" voters. So with the caliber of voters we have in this country, absolutely the Dems could keep the House and Senate. Then RINOS like McConnell are already disparaging the Republican candidates. Nothing about our political system surprises me anymore.
