Didn't the director of the CDC say all the same shit, too? What I can't get my head around is that this is one of the biggest lies that has ever been perpetrated on the public and most folks just act like it's no big deal, and then still "listen to the experts" and "follow the science" when told to. Frightening.

Some people don’t believe in compromising standards. They think electing a fascist will teach politicians like Abbott to behave to their liking. Except it won’t.

I no longer live in Texas; so I don't follow as much of their politics as I probably should. Who do the conservatives want instead of Abbot?
Please tell me it's not West. I've commented on West before and I'll leave it at that.

And here lies the problem with our uni-party system. With only two options we end up holding our nose and voting for the least repulsive. Trying to get an independent elected fails because we just split the vote for the R nominee. I still say....sink the ship, drown the rats and salvage what's left. I don't see another way personally.😡

I hate the "lesser of two evils" as much as the next guy BUT at some point we have to be a little smarter than digging in a refusing to do anything. The system is headed for collapse as it is and I had rather it collapse elsewhere first.
