I went to buy a few weened Angus calves from a guy several years ago. He said if I wanted it that he'd throw it in with the others. She was pathetic looking and I said what the hell, if it's free and will help you out. Load it.
When I got home the wife asked about it. I said we'll see how she turns out. She's been a pretty good one so far. Pretty mellow and her calves have been really good. That's her third one so far.

What kind of peppers? I don't mind the hot as long as the flavor is there.

try story. we could walk up to any pay phone and call a free number to know what the time was. or, we could just look at where the sun is in the day and take one hell of a guess LOL

I’ve seen that and trying to figure out if it is a blast being set off by primacord or some kind of weird directed energy (aka laser) that split the rock. Inquiring minds want to know.

That's kind of what I thought. Hadn't considered that it was multiple small charges, thus the PrimaCord looking like a series of flashes.
Small charges don't need much in the way of matting... esp. in the sticks with noone around. Gussing they will do that 2 - 3 more times and push the rubble over the edge.
Of course a giant rock-cracking laser beam would have been cooler!

The old 281 bridge at Marble Falls demolition in 2013. I was sitting here at the computer miles downriver and heard a loud crack which was the det cord and then a rumble. I first thought it was thunder.

I'll guess Nonels by Ensign Bickford as the initiation system. Looks to slow to be Cord. Also, cord should be pulled tight to reduce it whipping and increasing the chance of misfires. The rock shows little curlies in the flash and the bridge has loops under it. Both are bad form using cord.
But they both accomplished the objective.

In my neck of the woods, you called 844-1212 for the time and 936-1212 for a weather report. I think those numbers worked until the early 1980s.
True story. Whenever we went to the shopping district, our parents would drop us off and tell us to be at the pick up area at a certain time. We would have a good time, but we would stop at the pay phones up and down the street. We would check the time and by using those payphones we would know when to be at the pick up spot.
We would also "call the weather" to find out how to dress when we were going out or check for rain or snow.
Those were simpler times, but we lived through the darkness of pre-internet America only to be delivered into the hell hole that is instant access America of today.
Give some Meth heads some sockets and tell them there's a scrap buyer down the street, they'd of torn the bridge down for free.
