Russia’s MoD Accuses Ukraine of Committing ‘Nuclear Terrorism’

Ukrainian shelling of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant on Monday caused a fire and a power outage which could have had “catastrophic consequences for … the territory of Europe”, Kremlin spox Dmitry Peskov said.

In a MoD briefing, it was claimed that Ukraine's 44th Artillery Brigade shot from the village of Marganets - on the opposite side of the Kakhova reservoir.

UN secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned the “suicidal” attacks on the plant and wished for inspectors to be able to access the facility soon.

Last week, Russia claimed the UN rejected an offer to visit the plant.

Had that discussion with two of my friends years ago. They both work for the state prison system. They are techs for the security systems.
At 1st they were saying they do pay taxes. I had to explain to them . Yes, they have withholding on your pay stub. But that's just an accounting
trick. As all the money comes from the private sector. Which actually produces goods and services. That are economic multipliers.
The state doesn't produce jack shit! It only consumes the productivity of the actual producers!
Which is how they get paid! They both agreed. Eventually.

We've known since the early 2000's that Afghanistan has one of the largest deposits of rare earth metals in the world. Including the largest lithium deposit anywhere.

Yep China will get access to all that mineral wealth, thanks to our politicians.

I can't blame the Taliban too much however, the Chinese haven't invaded, slaughtered and occupied their country in 600 years, so plenty of time for them to forget that business and be pretty hateful towards the most recent invaders.

So essentially thanks to our stupid woke green carbon cultists, we are stuck with having to get the stuff we want from the Chinese.

I'm not sure if that is a step up or down from our previous dealing with crazed religious zealots in the middle east for our primary energy needs.

Desantis is probably thinking something along the lines of if Trump isn't running in 2024, I could have a good shot at being president.
Maybe he keeps his cards close and watches to see who the full deck of FBI/DOJ/Etc. they attack Trump with, as they expose themselves.
