I don't think 87k agents will be hired day one. Going to take time to get the system up and running. Based on every other deadline "they" have for stuff, seems like before or up to year 2030 is the goal. Still unsure of what the planned event will be that makes people want to switch. Other countries may get there before the US, like Canada and Australia.

"Eighteen months ago, the first in a series of articles on the management of COVID-19 was published in Quadrant. The constant in these articles was that optimal management combined spaced vaccine administration with effective early drug treatment to cover breakthrough infections. This article compares two groups of drugs promoted as effective in the early treatment of COVID-19: recycled anti-viral drugs that target specific replication and re-purposed drugs of biological origin that render target cells hostile to viral infection."

Republican leader Kevin McCarthy to Biden’s attorney general: 'preserve your documents and clear your calendar'

"I’ve seen enough. The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization. When Republicans take back the House, we will conduct immediate oversight of this department, follow the facts, and leave no stone unturned."

Authored by Steve Watson via Summit News,
Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik has warned that if the FBI’s raid on President Trump’s home doesn’t stop him running in 2024, the “next step” for those seeking absolute control of the U.S. political system will be assassination.

strong women!

Wadcutters in the revolver? They need to look at the ammo they are using. THAT had gone pretty bad and could have resulted in both of them getting killed. He had plenty of fight left in him and even disarmed one of them.

I know not everybody is a Chinese or Korean smoke shop dude with knife fighting experience and packing a Kershaw LAUNCH, but, historically as well as today, those who primarily carry pistols also carry knives and some might still be training in the old 'dominant hand with gun, other hand with blade' that became a quite popular style in the Old West.

Why did you think there would be wad cutters in the revolver ?

1872 for Webley, 1877 for Colt

And @Snuby642

Percussion double action revolvers appeared during the Civil War as well. The British Adams-Beaumont Model 1853 and the Kerr in .44 caliber, both which were used extensively by Confederate cavalry. And the US had the Starr Model 1858. The Starr was rejected by the US Dept. Of Ordnance for being "too mechanically complicated", and in order to continue their government contract to provide 50,000 revolvers for the Union Army, the Starr 1863 single action took the place of the 1858.

ETA: I was just guessing due to the perp still coming on even after taking multiple hits. Shot placement is also a factor. Wadcutters can be effective too if hit in the right place, but JHPs and FlexLocks would deliver far better energy transfer and increase likelihood of threat neutralizing with fewer shots.

Thanks.

I think I will stick with two handed sidearm shooting when I can.

Better chance I have to hit something center mass.

If I have to stick my snubnose in their ribs with one hand and hold them with the off hand I will.

I could not from the vidio tell how many times the robber was hit or where, but ya not very dramatic on effects.

Like someone forgot to take out training rounds.

Don't think there was much training if any given the video and their comments. Hopefully this is an eye opener and they re-think things.

They did "something" rather than cower and that is commendable in this day and age.

Agree. Everybody should practice the style which is the most effective and manageable for them. If the end result is a neutralized threat with least amount of harm to you and innocent bystanders, it is a style that works.

The dude was wearing what looked to be a heavy leather jacket....so penetration was reduced just by that.
Whatever caliber they were shooting had zero recoil (watch video) I would bet from that it was something like a .25 or .32 auto, possibly a .380.
I've seen a big black dude take 9 rounds from a .380 and run away, and they were well placed center mass hits.
A .38 special is the lightest self defense caliber I would ever recommend....and it would have recoiled in the womans hand enough to see....and her hand did not move at all from recoil.
I bet they get bigger pistols now :)
