Judge was taken aback because the “cop” section generally looks forward to a continuance as more OT.
She denied my request and sent the prosecutor over to talk to me and I asked “How much more?” I was dishonorably discharged the state doesn’t want my service and every court date denies my employer my service and takes a day of vacation from me.
I got “sorry” but you have to come in.
The courtroom court officer heard it and as I exited the court room he told me to meet him outside….

This. IT sickens to me to think the way are being treated. I expected to be out last year. It didn't happen. I consider myself lucky, but also didn't have much to loose. I could make considerably more doing something else. I was asked to mask up by a couple places also, I didn't, they dropped it. I was there 2x per week all year.

Of course just about every case today resulted pretty much the judge asking the defendant….”Do you feel sorry” and if the answer was yes it was $25 processing fee and a walk out the door.

If I were in your shoes I probably wouldn't remember a darn thing about any of the cases.
After all, the stress of being unemployed and dishonorably discharged is enough to cause memory loss in the strongest of individuals.
But what the heck? If you forgot everything about the cases that would mean more criminals would go free.
Then the crime rate would go up.
When the crime rate goes up, then they'd have to hire more officers or recall the ones that they let go.

They had failed to expunge us from these call lists and we were still getting work requests.
Barracks were forcing peeps to double shift and there were two or three patrols at each barracks. I screen shotted the call out begging peeps to work.
Another deplorable screen shotted a page from a different Troop same thing.
I suggested a foia pre mandate vs post mandate for OT.
Within three-four days we were all kicked off the call list and stopped getting these notices.

I don't believe this for a second. Police are rarely witnesses to crime. Many of those who are witnesses would far more likely act if they didn't face repercussions of the state. Big gov can't have that. Police destroy any sense of community and that's no accident my man.
Police rotate criminals through the revolving door of justice as designed by the state as a weapon against us. The vast majority of us would rather them be eliminated and that power should be had by the people. The state shouldn’t have this power for obvious reasons that have been played out over and over again some of which are manifesting today in the US.

There is word that I may be removed from the Kidney Transplant List because I don't have my covid shots. I heard through my transplant nurse that when I go in for a re-evaluation on Oct 11th, they will bring up the matter of getting multiple shots. It's bad enough that I could receive a kidney loaded with the vaccine, but now they don't want to keep me on the list because I differ from the brain dead patients already on the list.
I don't think I would worry about an infected kidney, the mechanics of the vaccine don't work very well unless injected. I hope you can get some sort of religious exemption. True irony to have to receive a clot shot in order to repair your renal function.

I have not seen it for a while now as I retired in January 2022 but prior to that (and still according to the guys I'm still in contact) it was not uncommon at all, especially at Hospitals, to be asked for your vax records for entry to perform service. It's still going on. At one time The Company, which does a lot of work at Medical Research and Teaching facilities, Justice Centers, etc. considered making vaccination for Covid mandatory as they has so many clients specifying it to be onsite but it never happened. Yet.

I don't remember ever being asked for an actual vax card, some required a mask to enter but those should be rare these days. Anyplace that required a mask I just found another place to shop.

They probably do here too. I just don't go to the doctor, I feel like I'll live longer without them after the recommendations I have heard from them over the last two years. Honestly there is a time and a place for a doctors care but I really do think they are overused and over promoted for minor issues.

She is in TN now, being as free as she can be, and she has a pretty serious boyfriend that isn't vaccinated either. I plan to to move closer to her at some future point (either TN or move back to Alabama).
