I lived in France for a few months once, it was very nice. In my opinion I'm rather certain that the OP is posting as part of a paid job (I could easily be wrong) and you could make your own guesses as to which group they work for and why the group is trying to sow internal discord in the country.
That being said, since we are having some interesting discussions, the subjective opinion on if a country is better than the USA to live in, comes down very much to what you value in life.
If you value the kind of dangerous freedom to both succeed and fail that many of us living in "free states" in the USA prefer, it's going to be very hard to find that anywhere else in the world. Especially if you actually have hopes of an at least somewhat fair and independent court system, human rights and the ability to at least appear to use elections to change the government.
Now if you like a much more cushy socialist lifestyle where you pay high taxes and the government is very involved in your life, but you have a large safety net, included education and included medical and very much like to do as you are told, there are lots of countries that excel in that. BUT if you hate Commiefornia or the USA NE, good luck as it's pretty much that on steroids. Those countries go a long way towards trying to make an equality of outcomes possible and some folks would prefer safe mediocrity even if that means pretty much nobody can easily excel.
The op mentions Ireland but I think they forget how oppressive life is there for the common folks.

Now if all you care about is being able to live like the rich on a small retirement or savings budget and don't care about the direction of the country or anything else, only that you get to live large and lazy and have folks do everything for you cheap and be able to make folks do most anything you want for just a bit of money and you don't care about the future because you don't plan to be around forever, then there are lots of Asian and south / central american places where your money will let you live like the elites and as long as your money holds out, you pay your bribes and don't stick your nose in politics or human rights, you can live well if what you want is simply a life of pleasure and comfort.
But I doubt you will find anywhere in the world that offers you freedom and liberty as much as fly over country here does.

Leaving the USA permanently with (or without) dependent children is not a really fantastic idea generally speaking but if you're wanting to bad enough there are lots of ways and places to go make confused faces at people while they talk in not-your-language.
My example is NOT something most people would even classify as being sane. I'm currently working on emigrating to South Africa. Now, I already own a home there and I have significant resources in the way of friends that are closer to me than my family and the lifestyle I'll live there is the lifestyle that I want. I'll be living on a farm in an extremely remote region and I'll have a fuck ton of cash reserves to land with and multiple locally derived income sources when I move there. The other people that live on the farm and I share our entire belief system and we all enjoy and want to live the farmer lifestyle (they already do and I grew up in that lifestyle). We're all of a sort of mindset that we're best off when we stick to our own and so we don't allow people that don't look, think and behave like we do to even come onto the farm. Thus, the lifestyle is severely restricted by very stringent rules of conduct. On the other side of the coin I can hunt and shoot all I want and I'm the best version of myself when there are those rules of conduct in place and where everyone abides by them. We all have to work hard every day and there are few luxuries as Americans would define the term. For all of that the actual cost is startlingly low because the farm provides our food and electricity (solar), most of the beverages and a lot of other things. Residency and employment permit requirements in your destination country will be the hardest hurdle. I'm still working through that and it'll take me almost a year before that shit's even nearly done. Most countries are well enough set up for tourism but for immigration, they're nearly all a good bit bitchier than the USA and getting residency can be quite difficult in a number of attractive countries. Wherever you think you want to go, you better spend a month or more at a time there living the lifestyle you want to live and do it several times before you actually commit to the move so you get a better idea of what day to day is like there. If you're going somewhere that's as likely to provide significant interesting times such as where I'm going then you best really want to have to deal with that. Remember the chinese curse, "may you live in interesting times" also applies to places. South Africa is a pretty dangerous and uncertain place to hang your hat and if you're not comfortable with the level of adventure that daily life there amounts to then it's not a great place to live. I'm quite comfortable there myself. If you can't be 100% sure you will love it there then it's a bad fucking idea. If you're just butt hurt about your own country turning to shit and the proliferation of brown people (they do make up the vast majority of humans on Earth), try living in a different part of the USA before jumping ship. I hear Florida is fun but lots of non-honkey types and they have Florida Man. A good friend recommends Alabama but there's a lot of Alabama Man there.
