Powder IN-STOCK thread

1 lbs

Thank you very much. Score! Unique has been my #1 powder priority for many months. I'm unwilling to drop 100 a pound...

Cabela's is showing #8 of varget is still in stock. It may be an error/inventory error however as it won't let me past checkout. Just throwing it out there in case anyone else wants to try.

My Cabelas order for the Varget say's it is processing, hopefully it changes to completed. Thanks for the tip on the Varget. I didn't think would ever see it in stock again.

Powder Valley has 115gr Bergers for 6mm. Anyone tried these compared to DTACs?

Hodgdon has 1s and 8s of Varget.

Berger .308 245gr LRHT in stock at Grafs
I didn’t know these things existed. I thought they only existed in myths and Fairytales. Fingers crossed everyone else gets them in the coming weeks. They seem like they were made for Norma.

Thats one of the first places I’ve seen them in stock. I’m sure they will start arriving to other dealers soon. I believe they are simply pointed elite hunters. Great fit for ELR with the Norma on up.

A BIT steep? haha...this was first reported yesterday and its still in stock. Perhaps people are: 1) no longer panic buying anything they see and; 2) the price has increased beyond people's willingness to pay.
TRUE, it may take a while as they get overwhelmed with their back log of $$$$ powders, NOW, in the mean time, why not divert some of the "whine & cheese energy into finding alternative powders ?
I'm sure everyone has noticed in their powder search's that there are always powders from AA & Western listed, and sometimes Shooters World powders.

H4831SC is in stock at Hodgdon’s web site, but NOT cheap. The 8 pounders work out at about $51 per pound - before all the extras. BTW, $45-$50 seems to be the going rate these days:

The one pounders are priced at a rather rediculous $61 per pound, and if you add Hazmat and shiping fees, you are approaching Gunbroker pricing.

Far better to go for the 8 pounders…

I thought it would weigh less than 13oz and you could put it in a little padded envelope and send for a few bucks, if not then yeah I understand
