After doing a more modern style 308 mg3 build last year, and falling into another kit, deemed it necessary to build another in a war era style. This one is 8mm, with a vast majority of the parts war era German. Really love how elite midnight cerakote comes out, if not true blueing it’s a badass second choice. Wood stock, brown Bakelite grips, really set it off

Too cool! Just a month or two ago we made some MG42 barrels in 6.5mm for 6.5CM. Up until then the only MG42 barrels we made where in 8mm and 30cal for 308w/7.62Nato.

I miss my MG34 (reg. full auto gun). It was made in 1942.
