Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

Also a Canadian trigger, Canadian optic, and maybe throwing it in an mdt to finish it off Canadian
It would most likely go in an MDT ACC.
Black Friday is less than a month away.
A Trigger Tech isn’t out of the question.
The only issue is the Canadian optic.

The only Canadian optic I have is a Tangent Theta that’s sitting right next to me.
My 6.5 wouldn’t be happy.

Well give the apex rival 4-32x56 a try. I’m now running 3 of them among a few others. There sweet! There no tangent obviously with the price difference but there no slouch!

Tracking has been flawless, turrets are excellent, glass is excellent, and durability has been perfect. I have roughly a combined total of 10,000 rounds through them. A bunch of rimfire rounds for competition and I never hold so repeatedly is flawless, bouncing back and forth on the 6bra and 25 creed for comp and hunting, and my Norma which just endured the cold northern Ontario and took a moose!

How do you like the Zeiss? Bossman told me to pick a new rifle for doing 15 years with the company. I figured he would balk when I showed him a Vudoo 360 in a MPA BA chassis but he tossed me the company credit card and said “Order it!” Okey dokie! Having it laser engraved with the company logo, my name, and the time is service. I guess hard work and loyalty still have their place. Now I need a scope… I’m seriously considering the Zeiss.

Since I didn’t see a Bergara B-14R thread, I’ll post this here. I just picked this up last week and got it setup for now. It’s going to be my PRS trainer and will eventually get the HMR stock swapped for my MPA BA Comp chassis when I get an MPA Matrix Pro ordered for my PRS rig. I’m digging it so far!

It’s amazing best scope for the price out def get one for a Vudoo

With that being said I do like NF ATACR 7-35 but hate that the eye piece moves with mag change

If you have big coin get a ZCO optic

For $2200 the Zeiss smokes the game for rimfire at this time

Nice! What ammo have you found gives the best results in yours?
I've tried a bunch of ammo I had laying around. With the shortages lately I had single boxes and partial boxes. SK shot real well (red &yellow) Eley target shot well also, Tenex shot great as did RWS R50. A partial box of Wolf match shot as well as SK red (same stuff I think). I had a box of Geco rifle match that shot great also, but the most consistent with the smallest groups were R50 and Tenex (go figure). I didn't get to try any CCI SV.
I have RWS R50 and Rifle match handy, so that is what I've been shooting. R50 for our monthly rimfire F-class, and the Rifle match for PRS stuff.

Have the Nightforce ATAC-R on Vudoo #1 but I am gonna have to look through a Zeiss. A ZCO 5-27 is high on my list as well

Yeah I’m a NF fan and love the 7-35 and actually get a good rate on em but the eye piece moving with mag Change is trash for an optic of that caliber I wish they would change it .

The new Zeiss for the money 6-36 at that price point is amazing and the other magnification model has An unreal adjustment range too ya can’t beat em

If money is no object and you want a ZCO or better yet a TT then by all means I agree.

I’m just saying for $2200 you won’t beat the Zeiss it’s really impressive I’m not the only one to say so

Well, I managed to scrounge together $6500.00 (called my guy) so it looks there is a ZCO or TT in my future!

Nice 👍🏻 can’t beat those, you will love them. If you want the best get the TT. Close runner up ZCO.

I’m just over here ballin on a budget lol. I can’t justify more than 5k range on a .22lr build, but after all I shoot tacops rifles with S&B for center fire so my play Money is well invested haha

Depending on what you're aiming to do... get the reticle you like the most. Unless you're planning on just shooting off the bench and wanting to read how sharp a piece of paper is, the reticle is going to be important in competitions.
Agreed! I dig the Mil-XT on my ATAC-R. Thinking the MPCT-2 or the Gen3XR would do just as well.

Got it out today; norma match 22 at 50 yards for the white paper tight group and then the upper left group. CCI standard for the rest. Good shooting day today.

10 rd groups.

IMO is not even close to be worth the price. If it was $1200, then Yea.

I shoot ZCO and looked at the S3 side by side, its not even close. used Minox ZP5 would be a much better choice even with the 50m parallax. Gen 3 razor smokes it and can be had for $2K right now.

The XTR3 is a better scope than the S3 IMO. But their reticles are too thin for me.

If there is a site sponsor providing a $2k Gen 3 Razor 6-36, please reach out to me, I'm interested.

Gray Ops is making an ARCA clamp for the Cyke-Pod now...might be time for me to upgrade from the Atlas CAL.
I own a Super Cal and a Cyke-Pod. The Atlas is definitely better for just being a tripod, the Cyke-Pod is definitely made for the PRS game for sure. It has definitely helped me shoot rooftop stages better. I have the Gray Ops clamp on my Atlas (robbed it off my Harris) it is definitely quicker than the knob on the Cyke-Pod.

I'm sure you posted details before, but I can't remember...which trigger are you running? I've got a TT Diamond single stage in my Vudoo.

It came with a Timney 510 v2. It's not horrible but I will probably grab a TT diamond to match the other Vudoo (TT diamond 2-stage flat face).

I originally got the 419 for my Atlas CAL, when I found out Gray Ops makes the lever clamp, I got one immediately. Way better than the using a knob. I have been holding off getting a Cyke-Pod because I couldn't find a flip lever clamp for one.

*ETA: I can't find the ARCA clamps on Gray Ops website, I know the Harris and Atlas versions have been available for a while, the one for the Cyke-Pod has to be pretty new.

I have tried almost every major bipod on the market.
Harris, Atlas, Ckye-Pod (MDT), and Accu-Tac.
I find the Accu-Tac to be the best out of those 4 in both picatinny and ARCA.
I’m using the Harris BRM-S with a pod lock on all my rimfire rifles and the Accu-Tac on all my center fire.

Edit: Just to clarify, the CKYE-pod is the most versatile for something like PRS but I’m not a PRS shooter. It’s just not as rigid as the Accu-Tac.
