I'm not sure how these events will play out in the future, but they will have a part, history really. Maybe a useful thing to do would be to read up ( review) the latter part of the 18th Century American history. Even just watching the " John Adams " mini series would be useful to some. It was bad back then too. The Republic they left for us has seen some bad times. This is one of them. The King was in it for himself. Kinda like politicians here are today.

Gov Abbott could not get rid of them.

This time, they said we could handle it because it was not a wet cold that would snap lines and get into transformers. Well, they should have done that before.

Now, Atmos, the only nat gas supplier in this part of Texas says to conserve and not heat so much so that they do not have supply problems.

Excuse me? You have had decades to figure out how to handle cold weather and that is the best you can do? Horseshit!

Figure it out and figure it out right now! Do you job for at least one day. Or get out of the way and let a competent person in there to do the job.

I hope that hurt some feelings. Feelings need to be hurt if we are going to prevent your or my elderly parent or uncle or aunt from dying because some suit wants to shirk responsibility.

Granted, the great Diaspora from California to states east of them is creating a huge demand. Texas is now the fastest growing state. Atmos and ERCOT better get their act together. Yesterday.

How old is that poll? I think, if not mistaken, that was after the elections of 2020, but before Chyna virus games & jabs. How will that change when famine and starvation is forced along with confiscation based on political views? Also, knowing that no one can be trusted in polls (i.e. info could be given and you will be declared a domestic terrorist), is that real? Been said before, people are still too comfortable. Killing relatives & small businesses is being overtly ignored for some reason. I guess it will take famine and starvation to adjust that number.
