IDK, he had some pretty deep seated feelings against the Japanese and wasn’t too keen on arming Germany either. He had put his ass out there against the Germans attacking England and Chinese sweeping the Korean peninsula.

He never was a fan of how we rebuilt Japan… and had grown extremely apprehensive of our domestic and foreign policy. He refused to by Japanese products believing that investment should have stayed in the states. The idea of building their military… lol no way. Standing up to China yeah, but using the Japs to do it… o hell no.

Ukraine/ Eastern Europe is not something we ever really discussed, but I don’t believe he would have supported what is going on there( edit-Biden/Obamas corruption), especially the idea of arming the Germans to do it

Interesting article. The more distance the long range weapons supplied to Ukraine can cover, the farther into Uke the Russians will push to protect Russian assets. Its a not so low-key blaming of NATO fo any extra ground taken.

I'm old enough to remember the Cuban missile crisis. This practical joke is from five years ago. So I wonder if they are still married.

I share this with you should you want to play this sort of practical joke on someone that you don't like.

i remember in the early 90's or late 80's there was a TV movie on, so it was on a regular channel

it was along the same lines of a invasion or something

it was filmed like a live TV new broadcast

my brothers and i were watching TV (we were flipping the channels and bumped into it), and we had no idea if it was true or not

winds up there were a ton of calls to the police that night because so many people thought it was true

I think barking no longer matters.

1stly takers of such "offers" are less and less and regardless of various Brians and Steves agreeing and even parroting such barking

I disagree.

I see it more as to ensure the US is consumed by some new worldwide hegemony.

And Russia in its current state will not be part of that process therefore it must be destroyed.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the new Nazis view Russia the same way the old Nazis did……Lebensraum

With the way the money is being printed to the risk of our economy and our reserve currency status, and the drop in our wartime inventory, what if this war is more about weakening the US than it is about Ukraine? I see several things that would lead me to the conclusion that it is not only Russia and China that are attempting to get this done.

It seems plain that there are goals beyond Ukraine in play and we are again watching the circus instead of looking for the truth. We need to wake up.

Fascinating concept. Never thought of it that way. I always assumed it was simply us being short-sighted and optimistic in trying to sanction and wear down Russian inventory.

But the truth is that it's hurting the EU economically and draining OUR inventory more significantly than Russia's. They sent in their oldest most decrepit tanks and equipment they had in the first wave of the SMO. (Pawns go first)

Any thoughts on whom the others are that are pushing for this?

UK, Germany... all of NATO except pretty much France & Turkiye are much the same in terms of not having maintained their military readiness in terms of both equipment and troops/training. My understanding is that US, Turkiye and France are operationally ready for war. The rest, not so much.

Turkiye may even end up siding with Russia to a great degree when push comes to shove.
