Reminds me of my bitch wife and crew at her work ( plumbing shop) . Customers always bring in goodies in the morning like donuts or cookies etc. . I stop by the shop for something and there's a package of Oreo's opened up in the counter so I grab one at chomp into it. Those ass holes had taken all the creamy goodness out of the middle and replaced with toothpaste. All the crew is laughing, I go to the sink to wash my mouth out and they had taped the trigger on the spray nozzle. Good thing I have a sense of humor.

Actually hit a pothole about a foot deep and 6 feet long at 65-70 mph. Buddy’s wife coming back from ski trip hit the same pot in a Grand Cherokee and damn near lost it.
Yeah I read the article. And watched the video. There was a pothole. But the fact remains the driver did not have the correct setup and that contributed or was the primary cause.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. The pothole was unfortunate but a semi passing them on the downhill would likely have caused it as well. All the judge needs to see is the door sticker and the sticker on the trailer and he’s now facing a new charge. Colorado has little tolerance for overloaded trucks.

I see way too many half tons towing too heavy of loads and many without weight distribution hitches. And many rv places that will sell anything to anyone. And people who will put most of the weight too far back in the trailer.

WOOOOOOO, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The old TV show “Hunter“ was an excellent show for hearing the awe inspiring moan of the mighty Thermoquad!

Anyone who lives here knows there is almost no similarities to Surry Co. Not nearly enough rocks and the trees here are mostly all hardwoods 🫡

Man I miss those old cop cars that had hubcaps.
Come across a police cruiser with just one hubcap missing, wasn't no threat, wasn't going to chase you down.
Come across a cruiser with all four hubcaps missing, now that guy he was going to give you a run for your money.
Of course this is what I was told as I would have no first hand personal experience in these matters.

Back when the Blues Mobile was just off the big screen... early '80s... our town was running a Chevy Citation and an Aries-K as their cruisers. Do you have any idea how awful a Chevy Citation Cruiser was? I was still in HS then... but the officers HATED those cars! And you could outrun the Chevy Citation on foot. It would make it only so far before breaking down.

The 1970s, the decade that fashion forgot! Although, the 1960 and 1980 were very good for music, etc.
The '70s had a lot of good music, too. Forget Disco and that soul crap. But you had a lot of great Southern Rock. Punk and New Wave. The Who, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd... dozens of others from Aerosmith to Zappa... were in their prime.

Yeah, the 70's sucked for a lot of stuff. But not for music... movies... some great TV...

And you could buy a brand new Colt M16, full auto, for about $600 plus $200 stamp. Just 'sayin.

In 1984 brand new in the box colt manufacture 16s were under $500. I think it was about $460 if memory serves me correctly.
