Humboldt county California was an interesting place to live back in the 90’s (I hope it still is), the trust fund hippies wanted to protest the fact that men could go shirtless in public but women couldn’t by getting together and riding bikes around town topless. I supported them 100%
I have an old crystal radio. So there.Yes, my 1.2KW's are the predecessor to the MC1.25KW's. I didn't realize the 1250 nomenclature was the same. My 1.2KW's are around 5 years old. In addition to the 2 channel equipment list previously, I'm running a McIntosh MX 122 A/V Processor, MC 205 amplifier, Sony UHD Blue Ray player, Wilson Audio center channel, JL Audio Subwoofer, and Apple 4K Tv. All of my interconnects and cabling are Atlas from Scotland.

One of my Son's finished lineman school. 5 Months, pretty intense. Making double that Min posted, plus overtime - as much as he wants. I will see him this weekend. Will be fun to ask him "Is it fun to cut the power to the "intelligent, yet unemployed man bun crowd?"Trade school? Why would anyone want to be a plumber, welder, mechanic, linesman, auto body man, truck driver, or anything else when you can get your master degree, be $200K in debt and make $15hr?

not sure if its true with this particular job listing but you rarely if ever put the actual offered salary in the listingTrade school? I am not sure where you review job postings. I worked for the largest insurance company on the planet and we always posted starting and max salaries in job postings. If you go to Indeed.com and look at postings almost all of them list starting salaries, the ones that don't are cheap asses trying to get people in for an interview and then low ball them with an offer.not sure if its true with this particular job listing but you rarely if ever put the actual offered salary in the listing
employees are always looking at the company job listings and salaries for positions
it causes drama as you can imagine, and causes HR nightmares
usually the recruiter or HR will give the job seeker a 30% range on the phone before the first interview

truthfully i dont really look at them anymore i just OK the description, salary and need.I am not sure where you review job postings. So you have no real interest in what your company is looking to hire? If I ran or controlled that portion of a business, I’d makes sure it met my every standard before I allowed it to go forward and possibly bring new blood to my organization.truthfully i dont really look at them anymore i just OK the description, salary and need.
that was just what ive heard from HR and recruiters

Reminds me of an old saying
“You can’t expect what you don’t inspect.”
That's why large companies are divided into divisions, sections and departments with multiple layers of management. Each is responsible for the functions within their scope of authority. That is also why people that are ladder climbers don't give a shit about the people anymore, they are insulated from the people by layers of management, bullshit and pie charts. There comes a time when a company gets so large a single person can’t oversee every aspect. To a certain extent you have to put your faith others. Same as the military, you have to trust others to do their job.

The flip side of that is when you find a “superstar” if they have the determination most of the time they leave and start their own business. That's why large companies are divided into divisions, sections and departments with multiple layers of management. You are correct. Many are running with employees at 70%. Over 59 years ago I was given a book at a management seminar:The flip side of that is when you find a “superstar” if they have the determination most of the time they leave and start their own business.
By default a company will never have the best guy for the job (with in reason) as they know their worth on the market etc
It hurts the brain but to be successful a company has to plan and function with “80%” employees as that is what will stay in the company for several years bringing stability.
Faith and hope aren’t reliable methods. If you want something quality, you have to put quality into it. When a place/business gets to a point where they can no longer hold down QC, maybe they should start to ask themselves if they are growing to fast. There comes a time when a company gets so large a single person can’t oversee every aspect. To a certain extent you have to put your faith others. Same as the military, you have to trust others to do their job.
Don’t you stick your finger in the exhaust port and roll the engine over to find TDC?If you leave the number one cylinder to free flow you get more torque on the bottom end. It also helps for setting timing. Finding top dead center can be a bitch if you don't
“Superstars” are usually smart enough to know when they aren’t being appreciated for what they do bring. When employers remember that, I bet retention will get better. Seems like the 50s through the 70s had good retention rates in business. Hell, for that matter almost all aspects were better because people had morals that weren’t bought by a dollar. The flip side of that is when you find a “superstar” if they have the determination most of the time they leave and start their own business.

As far as not wasting time on small return projects. Sometimes those are the ones that keep your business running day to day.

The other side of that is corporations plan on using the bottom feeders so they don't have to pay top performers what they are worth. Once employees reach a certain wage level they start getting pushed out of the work force because corporations can hire three bed wetting kids right out of college for what they make. Another thing corporations have completely lost sight of is employee morale. A happy work force is much more productive and uses a hell of a lot less sick leave and other time off.The flip side of that is when you find a “superstar” if they have the determination most of the time they leave and start their own business.
