I didn’t have enough saved for my mid tier optic so I bought her a pair of Jimmy Choos and used the Visa to buy my scope. Best $$ I ever spent, the Choos I mean. Should have seen the church ladies notice when my wife got up to sing. They are modest until they get thirsty.

Those are nice fish. They’re a lot darker than the crappies we catch in Minnesota.
My folks have been catching some nice white crappie about 125 miles south of you on Norfork Lake in Arkansas, they get a bunch of them that size with an occasional 15" mixed in.

I grew up catching walleye on the Missouri River in South Dakota. Obviously fish are going to take on the color of their surroundings, not like they are chameleon, just nature running its course of natural camouflage. Don't try talking shit, hit the breaks. Better to shut your mouth and be thought a fool than open it and remove all doubt.
